I spoke with Charlie just a short time ago.  He was in great spirits and he filled me in as quickly as he could regarding this past Saturday’s Benefit.  He was extremely happy with the results of all of his friends being there, and the large crowd that was also there.  There was over $16,000.00 raised for Charlie, and I personally am so happy to hear that.

He told me that Alison Krauss came to the show with her complete band and performed a full set of nothing but Louvin Bros. songs.  Charlie said he was so impressed with Alison doing this.  I asked Charlie if he sang and he said yes he did and he felt that he did a great job.

He is going to get back to me when he has more time to talk to me about the show.  I want to get more information regarding his new CD of “WAR SONGS.”

Wanted to get this out to everyone.  Charlie asked me to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and he wishes that he could thank each of you in person, and will, as soon as he has his health issues taken care of.  Please keep Charlie in your thoughts and prayers.

But these additional texts and tweets have given us additional insight," FBI Special Agent Stephen Emmett told "Good Morning America" today. " We are concerned and feel that they are going to continue and cause problems to say the least for law enforcement." Ryan Dougherty, 21; his sister Lee Grace E. Dougherty, 29; and half-brother Dylan Dougherty Stanley, 26, have been on the lam since Aug. 2 when they shot at a police officer attempting to pull their white Subaru Impreza over for speeding.
