Bentley and the NHL Team Up for Alternate
Music Video For “Am I The Only One”
 
 
Nashville, Tenn. – June 17, 2011 – Award winning singer/songwriter and hockey fanatic Dierks Bentley has been tapped to perform at the 2011 National Hockey League Awards airing live on Wed., June 22 from the Pearl Concert Theater inside Las Vegas’ Palms Hotel at 7:00P ET/6:00P CT on VERSUS and CBC.  The sold out event will be hosted by Jay Mohr and feature the best hockey players in the world in celebration of the 2010-11 hockey season.

Bentley and the NHL also collaborated during the Stanley Cup Finals and leading up to the Awards to create an alternate music video of Bentley’s current hit “Am I The Only One” featuring concert footage and video highlights of this year’s biggest hockey moments and fan footage. The hit single was used during the NHL Conference Finals in national TV tune-in spots on NBC, VERSUS, CBC, RDS, NHL Network and in-arena during playoff games.

Bentley’s newest single, “Am I The Only One,” is breaking its way into the Top 10 this week. His new album follows in the footsteps of the critically acclaimed Up on the Ridge (Capitol Nashville), which earned him Album of the Year nominations at the Academy of Country Music Awards, Country Music Awards and the GRAMMY Awards this year. His five previous albums have sold over five million copies, earned 10 GRAMMY nominations, and spawned seven No. 1 hits (What Was I Thinkin,” “Come A Little Closer,”  “Settle For A Slowdown,”  “Every Mile A Memory,” “Free and Easy (Down The Road I Go),” “Feel That Fire,” “Sideways”) and 12 Top 10 hits.
