KENNY CHESNEY ROCKS SOLD OUT PHILLY’S LINCOLN FINANCIAL FIELD

The city of brotherly love came together yesterday for Kenny Chesney's “Goin Coastal Tour” at sold-out Lincoln Financial Field where more than 52,000 fans went coastal for the all day event.

Playing the stadium for the fourth time in five years, Chesney's two hour show included a surprise appearance from rock singer-songwriter Grace Potter who adds guest vocals to Chesney's current single, “You And Tequila.” They also performed The Eagles classic, “Take It Easy.” Of the evening Chesney said, “Philadelphia is a very passionate city and our fans there reflected that this year like they never have.  They love their food, their sports, and their music.  The band and I sure felt a lot of energy and love in that stadium. And to stand up there for the first time at a show and sing ‘You And Tequila’ with Grace was very special.” They song the song together the day before on the Today Show.

Also on Saturday night’s guest list was Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid who joined Chesney on stage to a roaring crowd to introduce Chesney's recent #1 single and tribute to all things football, "The Boys of Fall." Holding an Eagles helmet, Chesney and Reid exchanged head gear and Chesney launched into the song in an Eagles helmet as Reid departed stage in Chesney's cowboy hat.

Chesney closed out the evening with tour mates The Zac Brown Band and Uncle Kracker who had joined Chesney earlier in his set for their # 1 hit song, “When The Sun Goes Down.”

Chesney's current album, Hemingway's Whiskey has received rave reviews and already yield the # 1 singles, "The Boys of Fall," Somewhere With You" and "Live A Little." Next week, The Corona Presents Kenny Chesney's "Goin’ Coastal" Tour turns to the Midwest with shows in Cleveland, OH (June 23), Indianapolis, IN (June 24) and ColumbusOH (6/25).
