SARA EVANS’ DIGITAL SINGLE “A LITTLE BIT STRONGER”
HAS BEEN CERTIFIED PLATINUM BY THE RIAA

Nashville, TN - It was announced today that Sara Evans’ digital single release “A Little Bit Stronger” has reached one million downloads and has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

“This song has exceeded all of my expectations,” says Sara. “I knew ‘A Little Bit Stronger’ was a hit the first time I heard it and what makes it even more special are the stories I hear from people about how this song has touched them. I am so blessed to have been able to record such an amazing song, written by Hillary Scott, Luke Laird and Hillary Lindsey, who are all dear friends of mine.”

“A Little Bit Stronger” was a multi-week No. 1 single on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and Country Aircheck. Sara has performed the song on the ACM awards, Good Morning America, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and the season finale of Dancing with the Stars.

“My Heart Can’t Tell You No” is Sara’s brand new single. The song, co-written by Dennis W. Morgan and Simon Climie, was originally recorded by Rod Stewart. Hall of Fame songwriter Dennis Morgan says, “We wrote ‘My Heart Can’t Tell You No’ as a country song first and foremost. It spread its wings and became a pop record and now it SOARS as the country hit it was always meant to be. I love Sara's version so very, very much.”

Sara is featured in the July issue of Shape Magazine on their Fit & Famous page. She is also part of SELF Magazine’s feature on Country Stars’ Favorite Healthy Comfort Food along with Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Sheryl Crow in their July issue. To view, click on the link below:
