UNIVERSAL RECORDS SOUTH'S PHIL VASSAR RELEASES NEW SINGLE "EVERYWHERE I GO"
FIFTH STUDIO ALBUM TRAVELING CIRCUS TO BE RELEASED THIS FALL
NASHVILLE, TN (September 8, 2009) - Universal Records South's Phil Vassar is releasing his next single "Everywhere I Go" from his fifth studio album entitled Traveling Circus in stores later this fall.  "Everywhere I Go," written by Vassar and Jeffrey Steele, is a touching, emotional song about healing and remembrance and appeals to many situations.  Listen to "Everywhere I Go" here.
Phil Vassar says, "This is the first song Jeffery Steele and I wrote together.  We all experience loss in our lives. And this is a song about loss and how certain things can trigger memories both good and bad.  Sometimes you can't avoid the memories flooding back to you.  Those memories can make you smile and make you cry and everything in between."
"Everywhere I Go" has already received several commitments from country radio stations and debuted as the number 2 song overall in the Bullseye Forecaster New Music Poll. John Sebastian, Program Director at WWQM, states "I consider Phil Vassar the Piano Man of the country format. This might be the best song he's had since 'Just Another Day In Paradise!"
Scott Donato, Program Director at WGTY says  "Wow!! Phil Vassar and Jeffrey Steele have written another #1 song.  You can feel Phil's passion with every passing line. Women will LOVE this song!"
Phil has been hard at work this summer touring non-stop and putting the finishing touches on Traveling Circus scheduled to be released this coming November.  He even recently debuted a few never-before-heard songs at shows in New York and Washington D.C.
