Montgomery Gentry Off to Freedom Festival

FairfaxVA – Country superstars MONTGOMERY GENTRY, LEE ANN WOMACK, and PHIL VASSARwill headline the 6th Annual American Freedom Festival presented by the National Guard and Outback Steakhouse at The Patriot Center at George MasonUniversity in FairfaxVA Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 7:30pm.

"We are very excited that these great artists have agreed to join us in our efforts to help veterans and their families," said Sergeant Major of the Army Jack L. Tilley (Ret.), co-founder of the American Freedom Foundation. "They are known for their patriotism and love for our military and are a great fit for our event.”

Ticket prices range from $34.50 - $99.00 with the military receiving a special discounted ticket for just $25.00.  Tickets will go on sale on September 5, 2009 and will be available at all Ticketmaster outlets or by visiting
www.ticketmaster.com.  All military tickets will be available through regional ITR/ITT offices.

The 2009 American Freedom Festival will be broadcast throughout the world to over 350 military bases in over 170 countries on the Pentagon Channel.  Presenting media partners for the 2009 event are WMZQ and WUSA Channel 9 News Now.

The event will benefit the American Freedom Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 public benefit organization organized to honor veterans of America’s armed forces and raise money and awareness for various veterans’ organizations with special emphasis directed to welfare and educational issues facing those wounded in action, disabled vets, and families of veterans killed in action during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
