MIRANDA LAMBERT MIGHT NOT BE THE GAL YOU
"TAKE HOME TO MAMA"
BUT AT THE HALLOWED
RYMAN AUDITORIUM SHE BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN

Lambert Took Over Music City Last Week And Continues Her Revolution With
Coast-to-Coast Performances

Nashville, Tennessee (September 28, 2009) - Revolutionary singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert began last week in Nashville kissing idol Merle Haggard on the cheek and performing "Twinkle Twinkle Lucky Star" at the 2009 ACM Honors Awards to celebrate him and his artistry. She also sang "Anymore Love Songs" for yet another one of her heroes Hank Jr.  Lambert closed out her week with a few thousand friends on their feet at the famed Ryman Auditorium for her promised Revolution. The 25 year-old blew the roof off Nashville's Hallowed Hall performing with the fury of a hurricane and the softness of an evening breeze, taking her audience on a musical journey of all 15 tracks of her new record in sequence plus her favorite classic country tunes and hits from her previous discs Kerosene andCrazy Ex-Girlfriend.

"There's no question that Lambert is one of the most alluring voices and imaginative songwriters in country music today," writes Ed Morris/CMT.com. "...She was pure energy in knee-high boots--and a sheer joy to witness."

This week, she continues the fire with live performances onGood Morning America (September 29), Late Show with David Letterman (September 29), Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (October 1), The Ellen DeGeneres Show (October 5) and The Bonnie Hunt Show (October 7).  She'll also appear on CNN, Fox News, Better TV, E! Entertainment News, Associated Press TV, Reuters and more.

Already gathering rare perfect reviews from the likes ofRolling Stone (4 Stars) and Entertainment Weekly (A), Lambert's Revolution, the follow-up release to platinum-selling debut Kerosene and ACM Album of the Year Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, is well on it's way to the "rampage" Lambert had hoped for.

"I feel like this album is the next step of my career," admits Lambert. " I'm not standing still. My first two albums were part of the same chapter in a way but Revolution means transformation and uprising and that's exactly what I feel happening within me and around me."

Randy Lewis of the LA Times quotes, "Lambert's evolution as a singer and songwriter is apparent onRevolution, for which she wrote or co-wrote 11 of the 15 songs. Many reach beyond her "Kerosene," "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" and "Gunpowder & Lead" image as country's most volatile woman to show there's also a sensitive heart, and a wicked sense of humor, lurking beneath the hair-trigger surface."

"With her third record, Miranda Lambert remains country's most refreshing act..." Rolling Stone.

"With themes of sin and forgiveness, regret and acceptance, loss and grown-up love, Revolution is a portrait of an artist in full possession of her powers, and the best mainstream-country album so far this year.Entertainment Weekly

Additional print coverage will find Lambert enjoying margarita's with her mother, aiming her favorite weapons, posing in the latest "fall fashions", and peering through the iron bars of prison. Country Weekly's cover story (on stands today), talks about Lambert's defining moment that changed her life when she almost dropped out of school, Maxim(October issue) reveals that while she's known to pack heat she also has an affinity for fuzzy dog slippers, First for Women (On stands today) showcases the tenacity of a young girl who bounced back after facing some tough challenges, OK Magazine (on stands October 1) features her "Fall Fashion Must Haves" and the next issue of PEOPLE Country"All about Country Stars and their Families" will feature Miranda and her mom (on stands October 9th). US Weekly nabbed some quality time to talk music in the issue on stands now and last month Details Magazinefeatured Miranda talking about everything from her rifle butt mike stand to her love of Bacardi.

On October 2nd, the video to her fast rising single "White Liar" premieres on CMT. Lambert finds her own wicked retribution for her broken heart, delivering an edgy, dark satisfaction to anyone who has ever had a taste for revenge.

"I like to think of myself as one of the outlaws" says Lambert while at a recent photo shoot at the famous and condemned Tennessee State Penitentiary but at the same time she says in the Washington Times: "I'm a pretty happy girl these days. I have a great career going, a good relationship and good people around me.  So to write a love song, I don't have to stretch too far.
Miranda's Revolution is her most diverse album yet, a combination of true country lyrics, alt-country sounds, emotional ballads, rockin' anthems and even a few love songs, completing her transformation into a more mature artist with a greater sense of emotional poise.

"Standing here today that girl from Lindale, Texas has a keen eye on the future, the music to back it up and a goal not just for her upcoming tour, but for the legacy she wants one day to leave behind."

ARRESTED now in Colorado...but what a story and week for 2 brothers and their stripper sister! Text messages and tweets by three fugitive siblings who shot at a police officer and robbed a bank reveal a dangerous mindset and a firm bond between the siblings, "We've certainly seen their mindset when... They shot at a law enforcement officer outside of Tampa Bay, Fla., and when they fired inside that bank in Valdosta, Ga. But these additional texts and tweets have given us additional insight," FBI Special Agent Stephen Emmett told "Good Morning America" today. " We are concerned and feel that they are going to continue and cause problems to say the least for law enforcement." Ryan Dougherty, 21; his sister Lee Grace E. Dougherty, 29; and half-brother Dylan Dougherty Stanley, 26, have been on the lam since Aug. 2 when they shot at a police officer attempting to pull their white Subaru Impreza over for speeding.
