NASHVILLE, TN - Sept. 24, 2009 - Multi-platinum country music star Dierks Bentley announced today the next wave of artists participating in his fourth annual "Miles & Music for Kids" celebrity motorcycle ride and concert Sunday, Oct. 11 in Nashville.  Joining Bentley and previously announced Capitol Nashville label-mates Darius Rucker and Eric Church will be Wynonna,Heidi Newfield and Michelle Branch.  


For the first time in the event's history, "Miles & Music" will provide an afternoon tailgating experience with live music, food and family fun on the river before the Tennessee Titans take on the Indianopolis Colts later that evening.

"My idea of the perfect Sunday afternoon includes live music, motorcycles, beer and football...but you also have to have girls...can't forget about them," laughs Bentley.  "It's awesome that Wynonna, Michelle and Heidi want to come help us raise some money that day...it should be a blast."

Tickets start at $20 and are still available for the ride and concert through Ticketmaster.  The ride departs Cool Springs Harley Davidson at 1:00pm CT and will travel through beautiful Williamson County and downtown Nashville, culminating in a jam session at Riverfront Park.  In the three previous years, "Miles & Music for Kids" has raised over $500,000 for the Monroe Carell Jr. Childrens Hospital at Vanderbilt.

This year, Bentley has joined forces with Nationwide Insurance, CMT ONE COUNTRY and the Children's Miracle Network to expand the successful "Miles & Music for Kids" event to six cities across the country in 2009 and 2010, with all proceeds benefiting Children's Miracle Network hospitals in those areas.
