JOHN RICH RELEASES “FOR THE KIDS” ALBUM AT DOLLAR GENERAL

Rich will donate a portion of the proceeds from the album
to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Dollar GeneralGOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (May 20th, 2011) – Award-winning artist, renowned producer, chart-topping songwriter and finalist on NBC’s The Celebrity Apprentice John Rich’s latest album For the Kids is now available at Dollar General stores and online atwww.dollargeneralmusic.com.     

“Dollar General is honored to have John Rich launch For the Kids in our stores,” said Rick Dreiling, Dollar General’s chairman and CEO.  “Our customers will enjoy Rich’s heartfelt music and feel good about supporting an artist who is committed to helping the kids at St. Jude.”

Rich was inspired by the kids fighting for their lives at St. Jude, and he wrote and recorded For the Kids just for them.  He will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the album For the Kids to St. Jude.
