Statement from Ben Jumper - Owner, SoundCheck Nashville

Over the weekend of May 1-2, 2010, SoundCheck Nashville sustained extensive water damage from unprecedented floodwaters that have never been seen before in Music City.  As owner of SoundCheck Nashville for the past six years, I have always regarded the storage and safety of our artists’ and our facility’s equipment as my highest professional priority.  Unfortunately, due to the rains and several days of subsequent flooding, some of that equipment has suffered significant damage.  I am still in the process of reviewing the extent of that damage, and have arranged for artists to begin inspecting and loading out their equipment in the next several days so that our facility can be professionally cleaned and repaired.  In the meantime, our Los Angeles and Austin-based sister company, Center Staging, is working with us to provide our 600+ artists with as many available resources as possible.  I thank everyone for their patience and concern as we begin the arduous task of recovering from this historic disaster.  For more information and blog updates, please visit www.SoundCheckNashville.com.
