2010 May Floods To Air in May

NASHVILLETenn.  (April 15, 2011) – Capitol Records Nashville’s Luke Bryan performed on the Tuesday Night Opry earlier this week and invited Lester Holt, “NBC Nightly News” and “Today Show Weekend” anchor.  Holt joined him on bass guitar on his current smash single “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” for an Opry “I’m With The Band” segment, which spotlights celebrities from different fields performing on the Opry stage.  Later that evening Holt was also a guest radio announcer.
Holt was at the Opry to report on the Opry House’s restoration since the May 2010 record-breaking rains and flooding that did 20 million in damage and placed the stage under 46 inches of water.  Air date for the “Today Show Weekend” story will be announced later.
