LUKE BRYAN’S CAREER HIGHS CONTINUE WITH
CMT AWARD WIN AND RECOGNITION IN PEOPLE MAGAZINE


            Nashville – (June 10, 2010) – The career of Capitol Records Nashville artist Luke Bryan is on fire. Last night he took home a CMT trophy for the “USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of The Year” for his “Do I” music clip, which was also directed by CMT’S “Video Director of The Year” Shaun Silva. And in other career news, Bryan has also been chosen for the second consecutive year as one of People Magazine’s “Country’s Hottest Guys” in their People Country special issue slated to hit stands on June 18.  

The exclusive photo shoot for People Country took place at a private home on the cliffs of Santa Monica, California the day after Bryan made his first appearance on The Tonight Show last month.

Bryan is currently enjoying the tremendous success of his Capitol Records Nashville album, Doin’ My Thing as well as his recent wins at the Academy of Country Music Awards as Top New Artist and Top New Solo Vocalist.  His latest single, “Rain Is A Good Thing,” is his fastest rising release to date and follows the #1 gold hit “Do I,”  co-written with Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood.
