DIERKS BENTLEY STOPS IN ATLANTA FOR NATIONWIDE "MILES & MUSIC FOR KIDS" BENEFIT SERIES

NASHVILLE, TN – April 5, 2010 - Multi-platinum country music star Dierks Bentley is continuing his nationwide "Miles & Music for Kids" celebrity motorcycle ride and concert series with a stop in Atlanta on Sun., May 23. Presented by Nationwide Insurance, proceeds from the event will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
The ride will depart Killer Creek Harley-Davidson (11480 Alpharetta Highway in Roswell) and travel to the picturesque Lake Lanier Islands Resort (7000 Holiday Road in Lake Lanier Islands), culminating with a special concert on the beach.
Tickets for the family-friendly event go on sale April 10 through Ticketmaster. Prices start at $20, with special VIP packages and combo tickets including waterpark admission also available.
Last year, Bentley joined forces with Nationwide Insurance, CMT ONE COUNTRY and the Children's Miracle Network to expand the successful "Miles & Music for Kids" event to six cities across the country in 2009 and 2010, with all proceeds benefiting Children's Miracle Network hospitals in those areas. Since it began in 2006, "Miles & Music for Kids" has raised over $1 million. Other cities already announced for this year include Dallas (April 25) and Seattle (Sept. 18).
