MIRANDA LAMBERT CLAIMS PRIZED ‘BAGGAGE’

Television Performances Scheduled

NASHVILLE, TN – Miranda Lambert claimed some prized baggage last night at the 45th Annual CMA Awards where she picked up her second straight Female Vocalist of the Year award. “I was really surprised,” said Lambert. “Honestly, I’m humbled. I had a great year last year, I won three CMAs on my birthday so I was kind of here to perform and be part of it but I was totally expecting someone else to take this award home this time.”

In support of her Number 1 album, Four The Record, Miranda will make several Television appearances next week. On Monday, Lambert will perform her Top 10-and-climbing single “Baggage Claim” on NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno. On Wednesday, Lambert will perform on the Ellen DeGeneres show as well as on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!. Lambert made history earlier this week when her new album debuted at Number 1 making her the first artist in the 47 year history of the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart to have all four of their first four albums debut at that spot.
