Jerrod Niemann Hits Gold with “What Do You Want”!

Chart-Climbing Smash Becomes Niemann’s Second Gold Single in 8 Months!

NashvilleTN – Sea Gayle/Arista Nashville chart-topper Jerrod Niemann is closing in on the country airplay Top 5 this week with his current smash single, “What Do You Want,” which has now become his second RIAA-certified Gold Digital Single.  A song that MusicRow’s Robert K. Oermann cheers as “audio paradise,” “What Do You Want” was written by Niemann, Richie Brown, and Rachel Bradshaw, and becomes his second Gold Digital Single in the span of eight months, following the August certification of his feel-good #1 blockbuster, “Lover, Lover.”

About the certification, Niemann remarked, “It is unbelievable.  I have loved country music since I was a kid, and I have read so many books, and bought so many albums, and really cared.  Country music is so much bigger than all of us, so to have two Gold singles is one unbelievable thing, but to me, in country music, that makes it even more special.”

Next week, Niemann will wrap the final dates on a two-month run co-headlining The Higher Education Tour with good buddy Lee Brice and opener Tyler Farr.  In addition to other upcoming tour dates, Niemann will hit the road this summer with Brad Paisley.  After opening Paisley’s monthlong H2O Frozen Over Tour earlier this year, Jerrod will be on board for Brad’s H2O II: Wetter & Wilder World Tour, beginning May 28.  For details and a complete list of upcoming tour dates, visit www.JerrodNiemannOfficial.com.

Fans can also look for Jerrod among the fan-voted Top 10 of Country’s Hottest Bachelors in the new issue of Country Weekly, on sale now.

“What Do You Want” and “Lover, Lover” are both featured on Niemann’s chart-topping New York Times Top 10 of 2010 album, Judge Jerrod & The Hung Jury, produced by Niemann and Dave Brainard.
