KENNY CHESNEY’s “THE BOYS OF FALL” VIDEO TO WORLD DEBUT ON ESPN’s SPORTSCENTER

“The Boys of Fall” Single Available August 3 At All Digital Retailers

NASHVILLE, TN -- For singer-songwriter Kenny Chesney, a career trademark has been his drive to take his music and fans to new places and provide them with new experiences, whether it’s a network TV special, 3D movie, duets with Dave Matthews and Uncle Kracker or sold-out stadiums from coast to coast.  On Monday, August 2, Chesney again steps onto new turf as the music video for his hit single, “The Boys Of Fall,” makes its world premiere on ESPN’s SportsCenter.  This unique, four-minute video edit will air twice – just before 12:00 Noon, with another airing at the conclusion of the 2:00 pm edition (all times Eastern).  “The Boys of Fall” is the debut single from Chesney’s forthcoming album, Hemingway’s Whiskey, which will be released on September 28.

While “The Boys of Fall” is a tribute to the sensations, the moments and the memories of playing football, the music video enhances those emotions with footage from the pee-wee to the professional level, highlighted by some of the biggest names in the sport.  “Every day we see the world of sports come to life on ESPN, and I'm thrilled that ‘The Boys of Fall’ has found a home there, said Chesney.”

On Tuesday, August 3, the full-length eight-minute version of the music video will be available at all outlets including VEVO, CMT and GAC.  The eight minute version will also be available onESPN.com and ESPNRise.com through the week beginning Aug. 2. The full length version, co-produced by Chesney, has been a labor of love for him.  “As a songwriter you crave inspiration, and I have never been more inspired than I have been in the past year listening to the lessons and the wisdom from these men and many more who have touched so many lives through the game of football!”

Chesney explains, “I have friends in this video...a lot of my heroes are in this video...so many players and coaches that have shaped the lives of generations are a part of this and it has been one of the highlights of my life to film it with Shaun Silva and Don Lepore!”

After two weeks of radio airplay, “The Boys of Fall” is already a Top 15 hit at country radio, ranking among the fastest-rising singles of Chesney’s career. On Tuesday, August 3, the song will be available for purchase at all digital retailers.
