Don't Like Watching my 13 Year Old Cry!
Jimmy Carter..on the road in Texas....

Willie Picnic and Aquapalooza have me in Texas but some other Texas people have dropped a bomb on us that brought tears....The Jonas Brothers have blown apart their Fall tour.....Nashville is cancelled....
I thought it was a crooked spam email...it didnt look kosher but it is. Ticketmaster could care less about getting your money back...I'm sure that will be fun..
Looking at the Jonas Brother web site they took out a LOT of shows...from Atl to OKC..Charlotte,Raleigh, Little Rock,a bunch..
So what's the real reason?   Dropping bad news on Friday before a 3 day weekend is a trick in the dirty trick bag of PR professionals....News folks cant get anyone on the phone and they hope the story dies or is too old for Tuesday after the holiday...
Lillith Fair cancelled Nashville too a little while ago....has the 100 buck ticket price finally hit the wall?   The Eagles blew up a pair of shows and I hear about steep discounts on others...
10 days ago..$10 dollar Jonas tix avail in Denver....now cancelled too....The greed at the box office may be in a pause....No one thought it would come to this....There is a huge disconnect  between fans and stars. There is no endless money pot on main street.
Country stars seem to still be immune but hold on....Lady Gaga selling tix in New Orleans and others for next April. Who is crazy enough to do this a year in advance?
The 4th is here...( or gone depending on when you see this) days are getting shorter and so are the tempers. The Oil in the Gulf screwing up vacations...The concert cancels....economic uncertain times. Hold on everyone this might get weird!!!!!
On the road now....the airlines are pricey and deals are few and farther between. Same for the rental cars and hotels....Got burned a little burned Orbitz..found great deal on Expedia...these are unusual times and MONEY is and remains a key focal point.
Radio stations keep killing morning shows for network shows. YUK.....Other than STERN I'm not listening to non local and don't think they will work. Still the band plays on.  Making it short...Got to go investigate the Jonas Bros.....!!!

I've always been a believer in the strength of the song. My problem is I'm a country singer who's had a lot of other musical influences, so my stuff is going to tend to be more AC. That's always been my slam in country music, that I was never a true country artist, even though ...
