Chris Janson GIves CRS a Big Thank You

CHRIS JANSON CLOSES “CRS NEW FACES SHOW” RECEIVING STANDING OVATIONS & RAVE REVIEWS

NASHVILLE, TN –(February 11, 2016)- In what Morning Hangover is calling “the most electric performer at CRS,” Warner Bros. Nashville/Warner Music Nashville singer-songwriter Chris Janson brought the Country Radio Seminar crowd to their feet at the New Faces Show here in Nashville last night. His five-song set was bookended with his unique style of harmonica playing and included his #1 Platinum-certified smash, “Buy Me A Boat,” and new chart-rising single “Power of Positive Drinkin’.”

Of his performance, Billboard lauded, “Janson made the strongest statement of the night that he has arrived,” and concluded saying he was “The hit of the night, for sure. Slam dunk. Touchdown. Whatever you want to call it!

“Thank you for putting food on my table and letting me feed my family,” said Janson, whose ‘overnight success’ started a decade ago playing Tootsies Orchid Lounge on Lower Broadway in Nashville. “Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

Janson’s incredible success this past year earned him spots on tour with Toby Keith, Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton. Racking up industry recognition, he received his first ever nominations from the Academy of Country Music for New Male Vocalist of the Year and two nominations for “Buy Me A Boat” as Single of the Year and as producer of the song. Most recently, iHeartRadio Music Awards also recognized “Buy Me A Boat” with a nomination for Country Song of the Year.

Next week Janson will join labelmate Blake Shelton on the road starting Feb. 18 in Cincinnati, Ohio for the kick-off of Shelton’s 2016 Tour Presented By Gildan. For tickets and more information about the rising country star, visit www.ChrisJanson.com and follow @janson_chris on Twitter.
