Mercury Records singer/songwriter Kacey Musgraves received FIVE nominations for the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards (ACMs) for FEMALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR, ALBUM OF THE YEAR (as Artist & Producer), SONG OF THE YEAR (“Mama’s Broken Heart” songwriter) and VIDEO OF THE YEAR (“Blowin’ Smoke”). This is the second consecutive year that Musgraves has been nominated for Female Vocalist and Video of the Year for the Academy of Country Music Awards. This has been an exciting week for the 25-year old Texas native. On Sunday, Musgraves took home two GRAMMY’S from the 56th Annual Grammy Awards for BEST COUNTRY SONG (“Merry Go ‘Round) and BEST COUNTRY ALBUM (Same Trailer Different Park) making her the first artist in history to win BEST COUNTRY ALBUM with a major label debut. During the telecast of the Grammy Awards, Musgraves performed her penned song “Follow Your Arrow;” a song that Billboard named as its No. 2 Best Song of 2013. Following the performance of “Follow Your Arrow,” Musgraves’ debut album Same Trailer Different Park had the #1 highest percentage sales lift for current albums on all genres. Musgraves is currently on tour with Lady Antebellum on their Take Me Down Town Tour and this summer she will hit the road with Katy Perry on Perry’s Prismatic World Tour. Miranda MuttNation Foundation’s New “Mutts Across America” Initiative Grants More than a Quarter of a Million Dollars To 50 Shelters in 50 States Wednesday, January 22, 2014 Miranda's MuttNation Foundation is thrilled to announce their Mutts Across America: 50 States/50 Shelters initiative. A total of $253,660 was donated to shelters in each of the 50 states, with the minimum donation to an individual shelter being $3000. Miranda Lambert said, “We are thrilled to be able to reach out to every state and recognize shelters and organizations working at a grassroots level to help animals. It’s those people on the ground, day in and day out, who really make a huge difference.” The MuttNation Foundation board along with partners at the RACE (Ran's Animal Care Express) team worked diligently to find the most deserving shelters in each of the 50 states. Operating under the premise that fans, friends, colleagues and benefactors across the US have sown into MuttNation Foundation in the past year, they launched a plan to select a shelter in each of the 50 states to lend a financial hand. The criteria used in their decision to grant funds were: • High adoption per intake rate: At least 90% successful adoption rate. Low euthanasia rate (10%) • High volunteerism: People rarely jump on/stay on a sinking ship. • Are they fiscally responsible. (Low administrative/staff costs) • High activity/fundraising. Are they working hard to earn income? • Do they have a specialty - MNF selected a zoo, a horse sanctuary, disabled pet farm, and an elderly/senior pet sanctuary, a last chance rescue for animals from other shelters and a blind farm to name a few. • Do they work outside of the shelter to adopt out or minister to elderly, schools, etc.? Do they have a presence in the community? • Is the website up to date with activity? Do they send newsletters? Are they current? Do they appear to still have the “fire”? •Are they heavily advocating/helping in spay and neuter campaigns, clinics and activities? • Are the hours of operation conducive with adequate adoption times? EX: are they open on weekends, nights, and/or weekdays? How many hours? As explained by MNF co-founder Bev Lambert, “We believe these criteria enabled us to find those shelters standing as examples in the fight to end animal homelessness, abuse and neglect as well as those that encourage adoption, spay and neuter programs and avoid needless euthanasia. We are confident and proud to award funding to the shelters we selected so they may continue the efforts that they have exhibited in the fight.” A complete list of the shelters that received donations is available at www.muttnationfoundation.com Miranda’s love of animals led to the formation of MuttNation. The foundation has successfully raised money across the country in order to aid organizations, government institutions or entities that build animal shelters for better care, increased pet adoption and encouragement of responsible pet guardianship, rehabilitation of sick or unsocialized animals, spay/neuter programs, reduce/eliminate euthanasia of healthy animals, and train shelter dogs for purposes of therapy programs, assistance for wounded military personnel, and dogs-in-prisons programs. The mission of the organization is to end animal suffering and homelessness on every front. Donations can always be made at www.muttnationfoundation.com.

COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME® AND MUSEUM SETS ALL-TIME ATTENDANCE RECORD IN 2013 NASHVILLE, Tenn., January 17, 2014 – The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum set an all-time attendance record in 2013, museum officials announced today. The 2013 attendance total of 668,777 people is the largest in the institution’s 46-year history. “We would like to thank our local, national and international visitors for such strong support,” said Museum Director Kyle Young. “Through November 2013, our operating revenues increased by about 25% over prior year, we held expenses in check, and we expect those numbers to hold through December 2013. In these challenging economic times, we don’t take this for granted. “We attribute the strong year to several factors,” Young continued. “We had a great mix of exhibitions: The Bakersfield Sound: Buck Owens, Merle Haggard and California Country; Carrie Underwood: The Blown Away Tour; and Reba: All the Women I Am, as well as a dynamic schedule of live programs and events. Our major expansion, now nearing completion, brought many new spaces for our visitors to enjoy in 2013, including Hatch Show Print, the CMA Theater and the Taylor Swift Education Center. Finally, Nashville continues to be a red-hot tourist destination, and we are happy to contribute to and benefit from this. It’s exciting to see our city and industry be recognized for all that it has to offer.” Accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum is operated by the Country Music Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization chartered by the state of Tennessee in 1964. The museum’s mission is the preservation of the history of country and related vernacular music rooted in southern culture. With the same educational mission, the foundation also operates CMF Records, the museum’s Frist Library and Archive, CMF Press, Historic RCA Studio B and Hatch Show Print®. More information about the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum is available at www.countrymusichalloffame.org or by calling (615) 416-2001.

The award show honors the year’s best in food, fashion and lifestyle programs on television, film, online and radio. "Looking back on the memories of me as a little girl standing at our kitchen counter pretending to have my own cooking show makes this award such an honor and privilege to receive," said Kimberly. "Thank you so much to the Taste Awards and to the fans who took the time to vote for me and make this dream come true! I am so very grateful." Kimberly’s Simply Southern is currently filming season 3 and is expected to premiere this spring on GAC. To view photos, recipes and video clips please visit: http://www.gactv.com/gac/pac_ctnt/text/0,,GAC_26058_105664,00.html. About KSS: Kimberly's Simply Southern is a one-of-a-kind cooking show featuring country artist and founding member of the band Little Big Town, Kimberly Schlapman. Her passion for making simple, home cooked recipes with her family and fellow country artists back home keeps Kimberly hunting for culinary treasures while on the road. Guests to appear in season 3 include Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott, Jewel, Eric Paslay and the members of Little Big Town. About Kimberly: For the past fourteen years, Kimberly Schlapman has brightened stages worldwide as a member of country foursome Little Big Town. This spring, she’ll fulfill a lifelong dream with the third season airing of Kimberly’s Simply Southern, a half-hour cooking show on GAC. Kimberly grew up in the northern foothills of Georgia where cooking was an enormous part of Kimberly’s upbringing. She calls both of her grandmothers “incredible” cooks but it was her mother who taught her not just how to cook, but how to take care of people with food. In 1987, Kimberly left home to attend Samford University, where she met fellow vocalist Karen Fairchild. After graduation, both women moved to Nashville, which is where the idea for Little Big Town was born. The addition of Jimi Westbrook and Phillip Sweet filled out their signature harmonic sound and five albums later; they’re still going strong. Kimberly currently lives in Nashville with husband Stephen and daughter Daisy Pearl.
Nashville, TN (January 17, 2014) Nashville newcomers Dan + Shay will be joining Blake Shelton and The Band Perry on Sheltons Ten Times Crazier Tour 2014, set to launch this summer in June. Celebrating the recent release of their debut single "19 You + Me," Dan + Shay became the most added new duo of 2013 at Country Radio with their breakout hit, which has impressively already landed in the Top 20 on the charts only thirteen weeks after its introduction. Garnering an impressive 59 first-week adds at Country Radio, Dan + Shay have set a new record for the biggest first week by a new duo in Country Aircheck history. The nostalgic feel-good single was written by the pair along with Nashville songwriter Danny Orton and is the first track from their forthcoming album due out later this year on Warner Bros. Records. A lyric video for 19 You + Me created by the duo and videographer Patrick Tracy is posted on DanAndShay.com and has just surpassed 1 million views, while the official video shot in Myrtle Beach late last year will be released in coming weeks. Made up of Dan Smyers, a Pittsburgh, PA native, and Shay Mooney, originally of Natural Dam, AR, the two realized they had a special musical connection after meeting at a party at Smyers' house, in his tented out living room only one year ago. What started as a late night jam session among new friends, led to daily writing sessions that resulted in songs which quickly caught the attention of publishers, label heads and radio programmers alike. Currently putting the finishing touches on the yet to be titled release, the debut album is written entirely by Smyers and Mooney, produced by Smyers and co-produced by Scott Hendricks and Orton. Performing as the first of three acts, Dan + Shay are excited to bring their infectious original sound to fans on the upcoming Blake Shelton tour. Entertainment Weekly is offering a first listen of the song available here. "This last year was unbelievable, and I don't have any plans to let off the gas now. We didn't want to waste any time getting new music out," said McGraw. "With every album, my approach is to push a few of my own boundaries and try things I've never done before. It was hard to choose a lead single off this project because I really felt like we had six or seven good options. I kept coming back to 'That Girl' because even though it may be a little different for me sonically, I couldn't get it out of my head!" Nashville, TN – January 15, 2014 – Award winning singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley is amping up his 2014 tour schedule with the announcement today he will headline the 2014 RISER TOUR. The first leg will kick off May 9 in Charlotte, NC and continue through the summer with special guests Chris Young, Chase Rice and Jon Pardi. Fans can purchase tickets beginning Jan. 24 for select cities as part of tour promoter Live Nation’s Country Megaticket at www.Megaticket.com and additional ticket information will be available in the coming weeks at www.dierks.com. “This tour is the culmination of everything I've been working on for the past two years, both out on the road and in the studio recording RISER,” said Bentley. "I know what my fans want: a kick ass show, an affordable ticket and a good parking lot scene to get the pre-gaming going! The guys opening the show and getting the party started all know how to put on a great live show, and when it comes time for my set, I can promise that we are going big! I have never been more excited about a tour.” With ten years experience honing his stage skills, Bentley's live show continues to catch the attention of critics, who have called it “dynamic” and note his continued devotion to interacting with the fans and creating “a nearly nonstop, high energy affair heavy with hits” (Reading Eagle). “…it’s hard to imagine many country stars topping Bentley, who soon made use of every inch of his big two-tier stage. The Arizona native immediately incited the boisterous crowd with a trio of amped-up hits.” – The Oklahoman “From the initial response from the crowd, he wasn't the only one who wanted to have a little fun. The Capitol recording artist continued to keep up the intensity throughout his performance, and with a long history at radio -- including ten number ones -- he was able to keep the hits coming." – Billboard “His own energy level running flat out the whole time, Bentley used every square foot of the gigantic concert stage. Sometimes he’d start out singing at one end of it, and end up singing on a microphone at the other end, or up on risers at the back of the intricate stage set, or out at the end of the runway. He definitely gave the audience a show.” – Times Record News First Announced Cities on the 2014 RISER TOUR First Leg: Charlotte, NC Raleigh, NC* Virginia Beach, VA Washington, DC Holmdel, NJ Bossier City, LA* Robinsville, MS* Detroit, MI Philadelphia, PA Scranton, PA Hunter Mountain, NY* Thornville, OH* Craven, SK* Eau Claire, WI* St. Louis, MO Morrison, CO Los Angeles, CA Phoenix, AZ San Diego, CA Mt.
