Luke Breaks Records

Nashville - (September 2, 2014) – Superstar Luke Bryan wrapped up the last of four stadium dates Sunday night at Soldier Field in Chicago, performing for a combined total of 225,000 fans. Luke also sets the record at Soldier Field as the best-selling country concert held in the historic venue. Luke also played another set of back-to-back dates this past weekend on his “That’s My Kind of Night Tour” in Indianapolis, Indiana at Klipsch Music Center on Friday and Saturday, selling out both those concerts as well. The next tour stops are Manchester, New Hampshire on Sept. 11, Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sept. 12, Hartford, Connecticut on Sept. 13 and back to New York to be the first country artist to play the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn on Sunday, Sept. 14. This fall Luke will launch his sixth consecutive “Farm Tour” on October 1 with eight concerts planned in the southeast, wrapping October 11. A portion of the proceeds are granted for local college scholarships (“Luke Bryan Farm Tour Scholarship”) to students from a farming family within the communities the tour plays. Also recently announced is Luke’s Crash My Playa musical destination concert event happening in Riviera Maya, Mexico January 23-27, 2015. Luke made recent Billboard chart history when he reached the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with “Play It Again” and “This Is How We Roll” with Florida Georgia Line claiming the No. 2 spot. Luke becomes the first artist to ever hold the two top positions since the chart began in 1990.
