Gold Certified Single Becomes His 6th # 1
NASHVILLE, TN – Chris Young is having fun! His single, “Who I Am With You,” sits atop the Mediabase Country Singles Chart, it has been certified Gold, and he’s spending the summer doing what he loves most, on the road performing for the fans. “Yeah, I’m pretty happy right now,” said the singer-songwriter who has 6 #1 singles to his credit.
“Everybody is looking for that one person who lets them be themselves and, whether we want to admit it or not, pushes us to be a better person,” said Chris. “This song couldn’t say it any better and I’m glad I got to be the person to sing it.” “Who I Am With You” was written by Marv Green, Jason Sellers and Paul Jenkins.
In addition to topping the charts, Chris Young’s “Who I Am With You” claimed the #1 spot in Rolling Stone’s poll of Best Country Songs of 2014. The 29-year old singer is also earning rave reviews for his live show, with The Times Tribune declaring “headliner status is just around the corner.” This week, Young joins Dierks Bentley for shows at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO (July 23), The Greek Theater in Los Angeles, CA (July 25), AK-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix, AZ (July 26) and Sleep Train Amphitheater in Chula Vista, CA (July 27).
“Who I Am With You,” is the second single from his current album A.M. The album has already yielded the Top 5 hit and Gold certified single “Aw Naw.”
