Kenny Chesney Starts Spread The Love Fund w Donation

Donations, Proceeds from downloads of “Spread The Love” Go To Injured @ the Boston Marathon In Need of Prosthetics + The Care that Goes with Them Boston: Like so many, Kenny Chesney watched the bombings at the Boston Marathon in incredulity and horror. The idea that people who’d trained so hard, who’d improved and become better runners for the iconic race – and those who’d turned out to cheer them on – would be injured was unthinkable. Like so many, he didn’t know what to do; like so many people, he wanted to make a difference. After careful consideration, Chesney reached out to WKLB-FM and explained his desire to help fund and support prosthetics for the people who were having or would ultimately need amputations. Saddened by the state of the world, he wanted to sow healing for the nation’s souls, as well as the broken bodies of the people affected. Beyond making a sizeable donation for seed money, Chesney decided to put his m...

AARON TIPPIN, JOE DIFFIE & SAMMY KERSHAW ARE ALL IN THE SAME BOAT

This spring, country music legends Aaron Tippin, Joe Diffie and Sammy Kershaw join forces to release All in the Same Boat, a collaborative album inspired by the trio's current tour, "Roots & Boots". The 12-track album is set for national sales release on May 28, 2013 (Big Hit Records). "The idea for this album came about after the success of our 'Roots & Boots' tour," notes Kershaw. "Joe and Aaron and I go out together on the road and play and do our hits and the fans go nuts… so we thought, 'why not just make this tour an album?'" The 12-track album features all-new music as well as freshly recorded versions of a few familiar songs like Tippin's smash hit "Kiss This" and Kershaw's 1993 chart topper "She Don't Know She's Beautiful." "I decided to go with two brand new songs and one old Neil Young song, 'Heart of Gold,' for my tunes on the album," says Diffie. ...

(April 30, 2013) - Curb Records, Inc. was pleased to learn that Nashville’s Federal Court took jurisdiction of Curb Records’ continuing lawsuit with Tim McGraw and Big Machine Records. Kellie Pickler's Injured Drummer Surprises

From Kellie: Hey Y’all, So I had a show in MN on Thursday night then bussed it to Illinois for another gig. I cannot even describe how beautifully overwhelming last night’s show was. Not only were the people amazing but I also witnessed a miracle. Many of you know about my drummer Gregg and the horrible car accident he was just recently in. Gregg has played drums for me since my very 1st show after Idol. He has NEVER missed a show in the 7 yrs he’s been with me. Last night we happened to be playing in Gregg’s hometown so his family and Gregg were able to come to the show. Little did I know Gregg was going to surprise me by playing drums for my encore song “Red High Heels”. When I hit the stage and saw that Gregg was now sitting behind his drum set I fell to pieces. It was special moment for me as well as my band and crew. For those who do not believe in miracles, we witnessed one last night. There is so much power in prayers, thank you all again for keeping Gregg in yours. XO Pickl...

Billy Currington Turns Himself In

Police suspect country singer Billy Currington may have videotaped himself chasing a 70-year-old tour boat captain along a coastal Georgia creek and threatening to "finish him off" in a tirade filled with profanities, according to court documents filed Thursday. The boat captain, Charles Harvey Ferrelle, and his two passengers told police Currington was holding a camera when he became outraged and made the threats April 15 after they passed him on the dock of a $3.5 million waterfront home near Tybee Island. "They were in fear of this man and a possible attack against Mr. Ferrelle, and possibly everyone there, as his behaviour was 'out of control' as described by all three persons," Savannah-Chatham County Police Detective Alycia Rice wrote in an affidavit filed in Chatham County Superior Court. Currington, 39, was charged with making terroristic threats and abuse of an elderly person by a grand jury Wednesday. Each charge is a felony punishable by one to...

Enter Grace Potter, the soul-roots-rocker who joined him for the Grammy nominated Vocal Duet “You & Tequila.” With a rare break in her vigorous touring schedule, the “Paris (Oooh La La)” singer and VH-1 Diva popped into Vegas for the se...

KENNY PLAYS FT LAUDERDALE BEACH

Ft Lauderdale: With a sea turtle protection curfew of 9:30 on South Lauderdale Beach, Kenny Chesney rocked the Tortuga Music Festival like only he can. In addition to a packed house on-site, the public access was filled with thousands, people hung out of hotel and condo windows and over 60 boats anchored just off the coast for Chesney’s two hour set as the sun disappeared. “Looks like we’ve got us a navy,” Chesney said after the concert. “If you’re a No Shoes Nation, I guess you’ve got to have one! And man, were some of those boats pretty…” Sailboats, row boats, yachts and cigarette boats were all bobbing a few hundred feet from the shore throughout the evening with their party lights blinking. The Coast Guard had a few boats in the water as well to maintain proper distance and decorum, but even they seemed to enjoy the show. In addition to Hemingway’s Whiskey’s breezy “Goin’ Coastal,” Chesney broke out “Back Where I Come...

The song is more famous than the artist!! This is crazy! I heard this song a month or so before it went public. Brad played it for me. I sat up a little straighter after the first chorus..When LL Cool J popped in I really sat up straight. When it was over I just said out loud, That should get some attention.
