NASHVILLE, TN -- (December 5, 2011) -- The following performers were honored today at the second annual AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS broadcast live on FOX from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Fans logged on to www.theacas.com to cast votes in support of their favorite country music artists. The awards include traditional categories, as well as previously unrecognized areas of the business such as touring, encompassing the entire spectrum of country music and bestowing honors that no other awards show has.

With three wins this year, plus six last year, Underwood has earned the most ACA honors of any artist. Aldean’s six awards this year rank him as the male artist with the most honors, and Lady Antebellum’s win as Group of the Year, plus four awards last year, make it the group with the most ACA honors.
