Taylor Swift‘s parents, Andrea and Scott, have a new home — a 5,601-square-foot, $2.5 million historic house in Nashville. ( they have a great lake home in Hendersonville..buttttt)
Just last month, the ‘Love Story’ songstress put a $1.45 million home on the market. Still, it’s a big move for a child to buy her parents a home — much less the Northumberland Estate, a 1930s column-style abode erected by Guilford Dudley, Jr., former US Ambassador to Denmark. The home boasts unique 20th-century southern architecture, and before Swift purchased it, it was owned by Luke Lewis, the Universal Music Group chairman. Thanks to Lewis and his wife, the home has been updated in a mature and beautiful way, maintaining the original architecture and historic flare it was given 80-some years ago.
The Swifts’ cozy new pad includes four spacious bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, multiple sitting areas, plenty of privacy, and, of course, a pool. If we had to guess, we bet Andrea and Scott are thanking their lucky stars — and their talented daughter — for such a gracious gift.
