Keni Thomas Prominently Featured in Episode 11 of
FX Network's Wildly Popular Comedic Series, "Louie"

Nashville, Aug. 25, '11.....FX Network's immensely popular series, "Louie," starring Emmy-award winning stand-up comedian and actor, Louis C.K., features country star Keni Thomas and his music in episode 11 tonight (Aug. 25) at 10:30 p.m. EST. The special one-hour episode, entitled "Ducklings," was inspired in part by the pair's recent USO Tour to the Middle East.
Thomas and Louis C.K., friends since last December's, USO Holiday Tour, filmed the episode in the rugged Santa Monica Mountains in California, and at Ft. Bliss Army Base in El Paso, Texas. In the episode, Thomas, who plays himself, is prominently featured along with his music as he joins Louis C.K. on a USO Tour to Afghanistan to visit and entertain the troops.
Thomas's memoir, "Get it On; What it Means to Lead the Way," will be published by B & H Publishing Group on Oct. 1, 2011. In addition, he has been writing and recording songs for his next album project. In late September 2011, Thomas returns to the Middle East on an Armed Forces Entertainment Tour.
Louis C.K. has found success in television and film, as well as live stage. The critically acclaimed FX original comedy series, "Louie," is filtered through the observational humor of Emmy Award-winning comedian Louis C.K.
From the inventive imagination of Louis C.K., "Louie" puts a spotlight on C.K.'s everyday ordeals, his quest to find love and his pursuit of humor. Each episode features a scripted story and a mix of stand-up comedy, which is original material for the series. The single-camera comedy features a unique mix of Louis C.K.'s stand up comedy and scripted stories.
