"Today" Climbs to #1 for Brad Paisley

Nashville, TN – Country superstar Brad Paisley’s smash single “Today” jumps to the top slot on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart and increases his tally of #1 hits to 24! This powerful love song, co-written with Chris DuBois and Ashley Gorley, becomes Paisley’s 21st #1 hit as a songwriter! Produced by Paisley and Luke Wooten, “Today” is the lead single from his forthcoming 11thstudio album LOVE AND WAR which releases April 21st.

The “Today” music video literally went viral upon release. During its first week, the emotional clip garnered over 25 million views with over ½ million shares on Facebook. Fans have made sentimental posts on Brad’s Facebook page, including wedding proposals, baby announcements, military returns, first dance at weddings, and many other unique “Today” moments. 
On the heels of the flurry of online and social activity surrounding the release of “Today,” Paisley achieved his first #1 on Billboard’s Country Digital Song sales chart. The song accumulated 41,000 downloads in its debut week.
