Chesney Free Show Ticket Hand Out Doesn't Run Smoothly!

Promoters for Kenny Chesney's August concert at Flora-Bama have issued an apology for the confusion surrounding ticket distribution. The Facebook post reads as follows: "When we said come to kennychesney.com/florabamajama at 7 am, we thought people would show up, but we never anticipated 140,000 hits in less than five minutes! It collapsed the system, sent us scrambling and -- proud of the power of the No Shoes Nation on the move -- we got the site back up in thirty minutes. Unfortunately, fans received conflicting responses. Too many RSVP messages went out. Suddenly people who thought they had wristbands were told they were on the waiting list. What could be more disappointing? And we get it. Anyone who received the confirmation of their wristbands on the RSVP page will receive an email tomorrow with the details of the show and where to pick up their credentials As Kenny said: “I never want to let my fans down. When I heard what happened, I told my team: there’s got

Lady A's New Album

Nashville, TN – July 18, 2014 – Seven-time GRAMMY winning trio Lady Antebellum announced today that their fifth studio album 747 will land in stores on Sept. 30. The album’s sultry lead single “Bartender” is already soaring up the country charts to become one of their fastest rising singles. Nathan Chapman co-produced the 11-song disc with Lady A for the Capitol Records Nashville release. “We unanimously knew that our album title had to be 747,” said Lady A’s Hillary Scott. “The track itself has this pushing, driving spirit about it that sums up our attitude right now. We are pushing ourselves as a band and as songwriters…taking ourselves out of our comfort zone and not taking ourselves too seriously. There's an urgency and an energy to it that we've never released before." “We are so ready to get this music out,” continued Charles Kelley. “To get the reaction we’ve gotten from ‘Bartender’ has only made us more fired up about the rest of these songs!” “We had the

Garth Speaks:

statement from Garth Brooks regarding the Croke Park concerts: "I have always been advised to NEVER send a message in “the moment.” It is said it is best to take a walk, wait awhile, and think about it. With that said, I just received the news the Dublin City Council cannot change their earlier ruling to not allow the licenses for all five shows. To say I am crushed is an understatement. All I see is my mother’s face and I hear her voice. She always said things happen for a reason and for the right reason. As hard as I try, I cannot see the light on this one. So it is with a broken heart, I announce the ticket refunds for the event will go as posted by TicketMaster. I want to thank the Irish authorities for going the distance for all of us who wanted to share songs and dance together. I really want to thank all the people around the world that continued to think good thoughts that this would actually happen. Most of all, to Peter Aiken and those 400,000 people who belie

Garth Shows in Ireland MAY Not Happen!!!!

The cancellation of the five Garth Brooks concerts in Croke Park will see the Dublin publicans lose out on up to €15m in revenue, according to the Vintners Association. A decision will be made by Tuesday as to whether any of the planned concerts concerts will go ahead. The Licensed Vintners Association (LVA) has urged Dublin City Manager Eoin Keegan to reverse his decision not to allow two of the proposed five gigs to go ahead. Brooks, meanwhile, has given an "all five concerts or nothing" ultimatum. The LVA has said that Dublin “simply cannot afford” for the sell-out gigs not to go ahead. “This is still a very difficult economy for every business in the city and the Garth Brooks concerts promised a hugely significant financial boost for pubs and for the wider hospitality industry,” O’Keeffe, Chief Executive of the LVA said. “It is simply unbelievable that the City Manager who oversees a penal Commercial Rates and Water Charge regime for businesses in the City took
