At Pop radio, Taylor is currently in her 6th consecutive week at #1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Top 40 chart and in her 5th consecutive week at #1 on the Mediabase Pop chart with “I Knew You Were Trouble.”, her second global Pop chart-topper from RED. “Begin Again” and “Trouble” have each reached #1 on both the all-genre and country iTunes singles sales charts. Both followed the release of RED’s lead single, the international Pop and Country #1 smash “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” Taylor will kick off her highly-anticipated The RED Tour just two weeks from today – March 13th, in Omaha, Nebraska. The North American portion of The RED Tour will include 13 stadium stops, for a total of 66 shows in 47 cities in 29 states and 3 provinces spanning 6 months in 2013. As previously announced, acclaimed singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran, whose duet with Taylor from her RED album, “Everything Has Changed,” reached the #1 position atop the iTunes all-genre Top Songs chart, will be a special guest on all of the shows on the tour. In addition, Austin Mahone will perform on each of the tour’s 13 stadium stops. Today, Taylor announced that she has added four new guest artists to The RED Tour: Joel Crouse, Brett Eldredge, Florida Georgia Line, and Casey James. Ø Just 20 years old, Show Dog-Universal Music’s Joel Crouse wrote his first song at the age of 14, started a band when he was 15, graduated from high school at the age of 16 and was signed to his record deal not long after his 19th birthday. Crouse recently released his first single, “If You Want Some,” to country radio—which he co-penned with acclaimed songwriter Luke Laird and his producer Jamie Houston—from his forthcoming yet-to-be-titled summer debut album. www.joelcrouse.com Ø Brett Eldredge has always felt the passion to perform, and with his debut album slated to be released this year on Atlantic Records and his infectious new single “Don’t Ya” making an impact at radio now, this Illinois native is poised for a breakout. Whether impressing audiences with his powerhouse vocals or displaying his unique sense of humor on Twitter, Eldredge’s contagious energy continues to inspire his rapidly-increasing fan base. www.bretteldredge.com Ø Since releasing their multi-week #1, double-Platinum debut single, “Cruise,” Florida Georgia Line has exploded on to the country music scene, gaining the attention of fans and superstars alike with their fresh combination of eclectic beats and expressive lyrics. Their Republic Nashville debut album, Here’s To The Good Times, earned the highest debut album sales of 2012 for a new Country artist. www.FloridaGeorgiaLine.com Ø A native of Cool, Texas, Casey James was born into a musical family and has been singing longer than he’s been talking and has been playing in bands since high school. A 3rd place finisher on American Idol, Casey wrote eight of the songs on his self-titled 19/Columbia Nashville debut album, which debuted at #2 on SoundScan’s Country chart last year and has yielded the Top 20 single, "Lets Don't Call it A Night" and the current Top 15 hit, "Crying On A Suitcase.” www.caseyjamesofficial.com Ø 16 year-old Austin Mahone’s rise to stardom can be attributed to the inspiring drum set that appeared under the Christmas tree in his home town of La Vernia, Texas, when he was just six years old. Fast forward to 2010, Mahone started uploading his YouTube page covers of his favorite artists, and a massive following of "Mahomies" began to organically amass, resulting in more than 102 million YouTube views and 1.8 million followers on Twitter. www.austinmahone.com Ø Dubbed “the breakout star of 2013” by Billboard magazine, 22 year-old British singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran recently performed his debut single “The A Team” with Sir Elton John at this year’s GRAMMY Awards, where the multi-format smash was nominated for Song of the Year. Sheeran’s follow-up single, “Lego House,” is already beginning its ascent up the charts, and both songs are featured on his debut album, “+”, which entered the UK Albums Chart at #1 and has since been certified 5x-platinum. “+” debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 upon its stateside release via Elektra Records last year.
