Brooks & Dunn Are #1 with #1s … and then some!
Duo to Be Featured This Sunday on A&E’s Private Sessions
NashvilleTN – Superstar duo Brooks & Dunn debuts at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart this week with their 30-song, double-disc collection, #1s … and then some.  With first-week sales of more than 55,000 copies, the album not only includes classics spanning the duo’s career, but also the recent hit, “Indian Summer,” as well as their current chart-climber, “Honky Tonk Stomp.”
As part of the excitement surrounding the album release, fans can tune-in this Sunday as Brooks & Dunn are the featured guests for A&E’s acclaimed interview & performance series, Private Sessions.  In addition, the show will include special messages to the duo from such friends and fellow artists as Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, and Keith Urban.  Look for the premiere airing on Sunday morning, September 20th, at 9 AM ET.
In other Brooks & Dunn news, the 19-time CMA Award-winning duo recently earned a pair of CMA nominations as Vocal Duo of the Year and also for Musical Event of the Year for “Cowgirls Don’t Cry,” their recent smash featuring Reba McEntire.
The most comprehensive collection to date for Brooks & Dunn fans, #1s … and then some spans 30 songs in all, and a whopping 23 singles to hit the top of the country charts, from such early classics as “Neon Moon” and “That Ain’t No Way to Go” to “Only in America,” “Red Dirt Road,” “Play Something Country,” and much more.  In addition to the new hits “Indian Summer” and “Honky Tonk Stomp,” #1s … and then some also includes the Reba McEntire collaboration on “Cowgirls Don’t Cry,” previously available only as a digital single.
