Bentley Plays Two Nights at NYC's Irving Plaza This Week

Nashville, TN – Oct. 17, 2011 – The new video for award winning singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley’s anthemic new single “Home” premieres today on VEVO, the world’s leading all-premium music video and entertainment platform, and will begin airing on music video channels tomorrow. Directed by Robert Deaton and George Flanigen, the inspiring video features iconic images of both the history and humanity of America.

“Home means so many things to so many different people," says Bentley.  "For my Dad, who fought in World War II, it means one thing and for my daughter, it means something as simple as playing in the park with her friends. For this video, we wanted to incorporate iconic images of America, but also capture the spirit of our country and the things that make it great."

VEVO will premiere “Home” across its platform, which includes VEVO.com, mobile apps and syndication partners like YouTube. To watch “Home,” visit: http://www.vevo.com/watch/dierks-bentley/home/USCN21100022

Billboard says "'Home' perfectly captures the mood of many Americans, desperate for unity in a difficult time." All Access notes that the song "displays once again how Dierks Bentley is one of the most prolific artists in music today…'Home' is one of the best singles of the year." And when nabbing Music Row's "Disc of the Day" Award, Robert Oerrman called it "stirring and uplifting…well written and brilliantly produced."

“Home” is the latest single off Bentley’s sixth Capitol Nashville studio project that is scheduled for release in early 2012.  The disc has already scored the No. one hit “Am I The Only One.”  Bentley’s new album follows in the footsteps of his critically acclaimed UP ON THE RIDGE, which earned Album of the Year nominations at the ACM, CMA and GRAMMY Awards this year. His previous five albums have sold over five million copies, earned 10 GRAMMY nominations and spawned eight No. one hits.

Bentley's upcoming weekend stops on his headlining "Country & Cold Cans" Tour are Irving Plaza in New York, NY (10/20 and 10/21) and Uncasville, CT (10/22). For more information and a full list of tour dates, visitwww.dierks.com.
