RASCAL FLATTS LAND 13th #1 SINGLE WITH “I WON’T LET GO”

Nashville, TN (May 23, 2011) – The most awarded country vocal group of the past decade, Rascal Flatts, bring their current single, “I Won’t Let Go,” to the top of the Mediabase Country Top 50 chart, making it their thirteen career # 1 hit. The song, written by Steve Robson and Jason Sellers, is the second consecutive #1 single from their current Big Machine Records album NOTHING LIKE THIS.

Fans can catch Rascal Flatts performing the #1 hit today on The Oprah Winfrey Show as the show-closing song for the third-to-last episode in Oprah’s 25-year show history. The guys’ performance became a special dedication to Oprah from her staff and producers and was filmed last week in Chicago as part of a who’s who of Hollywood cast.

Rascal Flatts – Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney – debuted their first album on Big Machine Records, NOTHING LIKE THIS, last November at #1 on the country album sales chart and became one of only four country acts to debut six consecutive studio albums at #1.
