LUKE BRYAN ANNOUNCES NEW HEADLINE TOUR
TO LAUNCH IN JANUARY
“THAT’S MY KIND OF NIGHT TOUR”
Nashville - (October 17, 2013) – ACM Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan announced today a new headline tour will launch the first of 2014, “That’s My Kind of Night Tour.” The tour will kick-off its first leg on January 16 in Columbus, Ohio at the Schottenstein Center and will perform eighteen shows through March 8 and will feature Lee Brice and Cole Swindell.
Luke’s current tour, the “Dirt Road Diaries Tour,” began this past January and has sold-out all shows in advance, including the upcoming double plays in Nashville, Tenn. and Tampa, Fla. The “Dirt Road Diaries Tour” wraps on October 26 in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Luke is currently nominated for three CMA Awards, Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist and Musical Event for “The Only Way I Know” with Jason Aldean and Eric Church. The show will air live on ABC on Nov.6 from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. Luke also has two nominations for the upcoming American Music Awards on ABC on Sunday, Nov. 24- Favorite Male Artist- Country and Favorite Album- Country.
Luke’s career now boasts over four million in album sales with seven #1 singles. His recent album, Crash My Party, sold 527,783 units in its first week of release in mid-August, making it the largest sales debut for a Country male artist since 2004. It also topped both the Billboard 200 and Country sales charts and is the third highest album to debut across all genres this year. Additionally, Luke is one of only two country artists that have sold more than a half-million copies of an album in a single week since 2008. This is Bryan’s second consecutive Top 200 #1 album. Crash My Party has now sold over one million copies and has been certified Platinum by the RIAA.
At the close of 2012, Luke was named the #1 Artist of the Year and #1 Male Artist of 2012 by Country Aircheck. Billboard named his last album, tailgates & tanlines, the #2 Country Album and the #3 Country Artist Album of 2012 and claimed Luke as the #3 Top Country Artist of the Year. Also in 2012, Luke took home 11 music awards, including a record nine wins at the American Country Awards as well as his first American Music Award. This past spring, Luke co-hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards with Blake Shelton and received the coveted Entertainer of the Year award as well as the Vocal Event award with Jason Aldean and Eric Church for “The Only Way I Know.”

Luke Bryan's Spring Break...Here To Party Tops Billboard's Country and Top 200 Sales Charts NASHVILLE, TN – Country superstar and 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards show co-host Luke Bryan has topped the Billboard Country sales chart and earned his first #1 album on Billboard's Top 200 chart with Spring Break...Here To Party, selling 149,515 units in its first week.
