Celebrating Florida Georgia Line's multi-week #1 smash, "Cruise," BMI and SESAC hosted a vibrant party this afternoon (1/29) at the CMA office. The room was filled with family, friends and members of the music industry community to commemorate the hot Republic Nashville duo and their co-writers Jesse Rice, Chase Rice and Joey Moi. FGL's debut single has been certified Platinum for sales of over one million copies and set the tone of their debut album HERE’S TO THE GOOD TIMES, which earned the highest debut album sales of 2012 for a new Country artist. The ACM New Duo/Group of the Year nominees, who are currently on tour with Luke Bryan, are already finding success with their Top 25 follow-up single, "Get Your Shine On."
