MARTINA WILL TAKE FANS ON A UNIQUE MUSICAL JOURNEY THAT PROMISES MORE MEMORIES AND CLOSER INTERACTION

Nashville, TN (April 12, 2012) – Tonight in Panama City, FL, powerhouse vocalist Martina McBride will kick off the first of several intimate theatre performances across the country, taking her fans on a unique musical journey. After writing and recording her most personal album to date, ELEVEN on Republic Nashville, and a chance moment of magic in New England, she began pondering how to more closely engage with fans.

The GRAMMY®-winning, multiple year CMA and ACM Female Vocalist is ecstatic about these one-night-only experiences, saying, “I believe the concert experience is about sharing. It's not just an artist up on stage singing songs for an audience. There has to be a connection for it to work...for both of us. I am so ready to share with my fans and make a memory.”

“In an arena, I always feel like my mission is to keep people up on their feet all night. It’s go, go, go! These theater shows are going to be more about making memories with my fans by giving them a special, intimate performance I hope they never forget,” she says.

Each night, Martina will change up the set to perform fan favorites from her eleven studio albums. Fans will also hear stories behind the songs on Martina's latest studio album, ELEVEN, including her current single, “Marry Me,” which is a duet with Pat Monahan from Train.
