NASHVILLE – (September 12, 2011) – Luke Bryan and CMT will kick-off the 10th annual CMT ON TOUR with special guests Lee Brice and Josh Thompson and CMT’s Next Superstar winner Matt Mason this Thursday, September 15 in Huntington, West Virginia at Big Sandy Superstore Arena.  The tour will host 22 shows before wrapping on November 19 in Monroe, Louisiana, all in support of Bryan’s new studio album for Capitol Records Nashville, tailgates & tanlines, which debuted in the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 200 its debut week last month.
 
CMT ON TOUR launched in 2002 and has featured superstars Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland and Keith Urban.  CMT ON TOUR is produced by Lindsay Bertelli of Reach, LLC.  
 
Bryan’s successful third album debuted as the second highest selling debut for a country release this year and the album’s lead single and Top 5 smash hit, “Country Girl (Shake It For Me),” has sold over 1 million downloads and is his best-selling single to date. This new CD is the follow up to his GOLD-certified album Doin’ My Thing, which produced three back-to-back #1 singles - “Do I,” “Rain Is A Good Thing” and “Someone Else Calling You Baby.”
