JASON ALDEAN SELLS OUT SECOND FENWAY PARK SHOW AND UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA'S SANFORD STADIUM IN 45 MINUTES TODAY
Aldean Debuted New Single “The Only Way I Know” Featuring Luke Bryan
and Eric Church on Last Night’s CMA Awards
Nashville, TN – Nov. 2, 2012 – MULTI-PLATINUM entertainer Jason Aldean continues to solidify his status as a stadium headliner as two more of his 2013 NIGHT TRAIN TOUR stadium dates sell out at a dizzying speed today. Every ticket to the April 13 concert at University of Georgia's Sanford Stadium and the second show of a two night stand at Boston's Fenway Park on July 12 was swept up in under an hour this morning. The first night at Fenway sold out in a record seven minutes.
"I got to open the CMA Awards last night with two of my really good friends, and then I got to wake up this morning with more sold out stadiums…are you kidding me right now?" said Aldean. "The list of guys in country music who sell out stadiums is pretty short, it's guys like Chesney and Garth…I'm not supposed to be on that list. It's a big testament to the hard work my band and crew put in every night out there and to the loyalty and passion of country music fans. It doesn't get any better than this."
Fresh off the release of his fifth studio album NIGHT TRAIN which sold 409,000 copies its first week, Aldean opened the CMA Awards broadcast last night with the debut performance of the album’s second single, “The Only Way I Know,” with Luke Bryan and Eric Church. Bryan and Church are also featured on the fan-favorite track that is available at radio now. He also performed the album’s first single, the GOLD certified “Take A Little Ride,” which already had a three-week reign at No. one making it the longest running chart-topper of 2012.
