Wynonna releases statement on tour and husband

TOUR TO RESUME THIS THURSDAY, AUGUST 30 INCLUDING RESCHEDULED CANADIAN SHOWS WYNONNA JUDD has released a new statement on husband/drummer Cactus Moser’s recovery following his August 18 motorcycle accident: “We continue to feel loved and supported by the outpouring of messages from people around the world. Cactus continues to improve every day as he begins his road to rehabilitation. We are looking forward to the day when we will be back together on stage again and I believe we will be stronger than ever. Until then I will be out on the road with the rest of the band while I wait lovingly and patiently for my husband to return to The Big Noise. “We have received hundreds of inquiries from people wanting to show support to Cactus in some way. In lieu of flowers, gifts and cards, Cactus is asking for family, friends and fans to make a donation in his name to Homes For Our Troops, a non-profit, non-partisan organization committed to helping military personnel who have returned home with serious disabilities. Please visit http://www.homesforourtroops.org/cactusmoser to learn more. Cactus will be notified of every dollar donated in his name and you can even include a message to him along with your donation.” WYNONNA has announced she’ll resume her tour with her band THE BIG NOISE this Thursday, August 30 at Leelanau Sands Casino in Peshawbestwon, MI. No core country artist has crossed over more titles to AC. Rogers has scored eight AC No. 1s. Rogers: "I remember when [the AC charts] were established, I thought it was so cool. I've always been a believer in the strength of the song. My problem is I'm a country singer who's had a lot of other musical influences, so my stuff is going to tend to be more AC. That's always been my slam in country music, that I was never a true country artist, even though ...
