Florida, Georgia Line at Cheyenne Frontier Days

Superstar Country duo FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE continued their history-making streak on Saturday (7/30), shattering the Cheyenne Frontier Days attendance record during the legendary Western festival’s grand finale show.

Packing an astounding 25,011 fans into the Cheyenne Frontier Days Arena, the hit-making team of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley topped a mark previously set by Jason Aldean, more evidence that FGL has arrived as one of the genre’s premiere touring acts.

“Saturday night’s show in Cheyenne was truly amazing, setting the new record for concert attendance,” said Bob Romeo, President of Romeo Entertainment Group. “It was incredible to see how much Florida Georgia Line has grown into a polished, undeniable headline act in just a few short years. Everything from the production to their energy on stage was spot on and the fan response was overwhelming. I’m so proud of Brian and Tyler and all that they have accomplished.”

Tallying over 1.5 million concert tickets sold in 2015, this summer has seen the duo rise to even greater heights with their DIG YOUR ROOTS TOUR, selling out venue after venue with a high-octane bill that also includes Kane Brown, The Cadillac Three and Cole Swindell. Fans and media alike have responded with raves and praises for the concerts, with outlets such as the Oakland Press writing that the shows are further “cementing FGL as a bona fide headliner after just two albums.”

Meanwhile, Hubbard and Kelley’s latest single “H.O.L.Y” has now been at #1 for 12 weeks on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and also reached the top spot at Country radio, marking their 11th #1 hit as artists and songwriters. The song is the first taste of the boundary-pushing duo’s third studio album, DIG YOUR ROOTS, which is set for release August 26 on Big Machine Label Group and features collaborations with Tim McGraw, Backstreet Boys and Ziggy Marley.

Since breaking out in 2012 with the mega smash “Cruise,” FGL have solidified their place as one of the elite acts in Country music, earning prestigious honors from the AMA, ACM Awards, CMA Awards, Billboard Music Awards and CMT. Their previous releases – 2X PLATINUM debut HERE’S TO THE GOOD TIMES and PLATINUM ANYTHING GOES – have attributed to sales nearing 26 million tracks, over 3.5 million albums worldwide and RIAA DIAMOND-certification for “Cruise,” solidifying the hit as the only Country single to ever reach sales of over 10 million copies. Their massive debut also overtook the record for longest #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
