Remembering Millie!!!

One of the most famous back up singers in modern music history has died...Millie Kirkham was 91 and died December 14th... Her soprano was heard on many of Elvis Presley's recordings such as "The Wonder Of You, Surrender, How Great Thou Art, Polk Salad Annie, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Don't, Just Pretend, (You're The) Devil in Disguise, C.C. Rider" and many others. She also sang with Elvis on many of his movie soundtracks and performed with him on stage in the 1970 documentary, Elvis: That's the Way It Is in Las Vegas. A longtime fixture in the music community, her credits include numerous radio and television appearances, collaborations with the Jordanaires and the Anita Kerr Singers along with her countless recording sessions in Los Angeles, New York City, Las Vegas and Nashville. Nashville, TN - Dec. 12, 2014 - Country music superstars Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and Toby Keith will headline the first-ever Delaware Junction, a three-day country music and camping festival at the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington, DE on Aug 14-16, 2015. Kelly Lang set to sign at "Christmas 4 Kids" Bus Tour

Nashville, TN (December 11th, 2014) - Leopard Entertainment recording artist, Kelly Lang will be part of the star studded line up of celebrities who will be signing at this year's annual "Christmas 4 Kids" Bus Tour. The event, benefitting underprivileged children, will take place at the Hendersonville Walmart in Hendersonville, TN, on Monday, December 15th from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. Dawn Sears, Member of The Time Jumpers and Vince Gill's Band, Dies At 53

NASHVILLE – December 12, 2014 -- Dawn Sears, 53, stellar vocalist and member of Rounder Record’s 4-time Grammy-nominated band The Time Jumpers, died Thursday night, December 11. Diagnosed with lung cancer in February 2012, Sears fought the disease ferociously and championed efforts for lung cancer research. In addition to having been a Time Jumper, she was also a long-time member of Vince Gill’s touring band. She is survived by her husband, the fiddler and fellow Time Jumper Kenny Sears and daughter Tess. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Aaron Tippin Celebrates 25!

Nashville, Tenn. (December 10, 2014) - Aaron Tippin, the "Hardest Workin' Man in Country Music" will soon be celebrating a major career milestone. The year 2015 will mark Tippin's 25th year in music.
