Eddie Montgomery Fighting Cancer!!!

I was with Eddie Tuesday night....a guitar pull in Augusta....I heard the Cancer rumor but how could I ask him...and I did NOT.... He looked great....good mood...sounded great that night...no signs at all of any trouble... I dismissed the rumor as just that.... then tonight:

Montgomery released this statement Thursday:

“Yes, rumors have started. And the truth is I have recently been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. I will be undergoing surgery to remove the cancerous tumor in December. I will be back in January ready to rock for all the fans! Please keep my family and I in your prayers.” - Eddie Montgomery

Well....sent Eddie a tweet that his friends are sending positive thoughts and prayers....and we are...Meanwhile..eddie is where he should be ON STAGE in Canada...then home.... sighhh
