NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 29, 2016)- Multi-Grammy award winner and MCA Records Nashville recording artist Vince Gill announced today during a live Facebook chat at Ernest Tubb Record Shop in downtown Nashville with legendary Opry announcer and Country Music On-Air Personality Hall of Famer Eddie Stubbs that he will celebrate his 25th Anniversary as a member of the Grand Ole Opry® with two special shows on Saturday, August 13. Gill, one of the Opry’s most beloved and frequent players, was inducted as an Opry member on August 10, 1991.
Gill will release his 18th album, Down To My Last Bad Habit, on February 12 on MCA Records Nashville. Beginning today, Opry fans can purchase autographed copies of the CD along with tickets to Gill’s 25th Opry anniversary show at opry.com.
Gill is also scheduled to reunite with Lyle Lovett on February 17 for their 13-city “Songs and Stories” Tour. For a complete list of tour dates and more information go to www.VinceGill.com.
“We’re excited both about Vince’s recording coming out next month and about celebrating his entire Opry career to date later this year,” said Opry Vice President and General Manager Pete Fisher. “We’ve had a preview of some of Vince’s new music at the Opry over the past few months, and it has been a reminder of why he has been an award-winning artist and a favorite of fans and fellow artists alike for more than a quarter century.”
Combining unequaled musicianship and creativity with a strong sense of tradition — and a personality that has won him a reputation as one of the nicest people in country music — Vince Gill is one of the most honored artists in the music’s history, and one of the youngest to earn membership in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
A talented guitar picker by the time he was in his teens, Vince began his career playing with bluegrass bands — first in his native Oklahoma, then in Kentucky with the Bluegrass Alliance and, briefly, Ricky Skaggs’ Boone Creek. Moving to Los Angeles, he signed on with fiddler Byron Berline’s Sundance before joining the pop-country-rock Pure Prairie League. He followed that with a stint in the Cherry Bombs with Rodney Crowell and work backing Rosanne Cash. In 1984, he moved to Nashville and signed his first recording contract as a solo artist, occupying himself with work as a sideman in studios and onstage.
Though several of his songs flirted with Top 10 status, Vince’s real breakthrough came in 1990 when “When I Call Your Name” reached No. 2. For the next decade, he was a steady presence in the Top 10, racking up several dozen hits that ranged from soulful country ballads (“I Still Believe in You,” “Tryin’ to Get Over You”) to feel-good country rockers (“Liza Jane” and “What the Cowgirls Do”).
Rewarded by his peers with a long list of Country Music Association awards and Grammy trophies (the most for a male country artist), he's sold more than 26 million albums while being hailed as a soulful singer, innovative instrumentalist, and creative force who showed a strong grasp of country traditions from bluegrass to honky tonk.
In more recent years, Vince has settled into a unique role as one of country music’s youngest “elder statesmen.” An eloquent spokesman for the Grand Ole Opry and for the Country Music Foundation, he has headed all-star casts at prestigious venues around the country, hosted the CMA Awards for multiple years, made guest appearances onstage and on recordings with artists ranging from the world-famous to the obscure, and toured extensively.

Lebanon, Tenn. (January 28, 2016) – 650 AM WSM, the radio home of the Grand Ole Opry, and the Wilson County Convention and Visitors Bureau are pleased to announce the debut of WSM Live From The Capitol Theatre, a live performance show highlighting aspiring singers and songwriters. The two-hour matinee program will broadcast live from 1-3 p.m. CT from the stage of Lebanon’s historic Capitol Theatre on February 27, March 26, and April 23, 2016, with future dates to be announced.
WSM Live From The Capitol Theatre is not a talent competition, but rather a showcase designed to give much needed exposure to vocalists and bands looking for their break in the music industry. A rich musical history has positioned Wilson County as an “incubator” for aspiring songwriters and musicians who are seeking performance and learning opportunities before heading to Music City. To be considered for the showcase, performers can visit WSMonline.com for EPK submission.
“As a resident of Wilson County, I feel that it is important to support and promote the new music talent scene emerging here. Bob Black, owner of The Capitol Theatre is providing the ideal setting for this ongoing event,” said Chris Kulick, WSM General Manager. “We live in a day and age where it is difficult for an artist to gain exposure, and WSM Live From The Capitol Theatre will showcase new talent from a beautifully restored venue on the very station that coined the moniker Music City.”
The fast-growing community a short drive or train ride from Nashville is already the home of many country stars including Charlie Daniels, Tracy Lawrence, Darryl Worley, and Gretchen Wilson. Legendary songwriter Curly Putman, whose Wilson County property was made famous in Paul McCartney’s song “Down On Junior’s Farm,” is one of the county’s most beloved residents.
Iconic producer Owen Bradley put Wilson County on the music industry radar with his famous recording studio “Bradley’s Barn,” which catered to country and rock royalty in a relaxed, rural setting.
Tickets to WSM Live From The Capitol Theatre are $10.00 each and will be available onsite or at capitoltheatretn.com. The show will be broadcast live on 650 AM, WSMonline.com and on WSM’s free mobile app.
650 AM WSM’s first official broadcast day was October 5, 1925. The station is the radio home of the Grand Ole Opry, which has been broadcast live over the airwaves since its inception. 650 AM WSM is owned by Ryman Hospitalities. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 27, 2016) – Just like their 1983 mega-hit, The Oak Ridge Boys are “American Made,” and today the newest members of the Country Music Hall of Fame announce they are planning to bring their multi-platinum selling and GRAMMY® Award winning repertoire of hits to an American city near you. Their 2016 United States tour will stretch all the way from Louisiana to California to Florida to Virginia. Performing over 150 dates per year for over 40 years, The Oak Ridge Boys are looking forward to bringing their critically acclaimed high-energy show to a city near you! For a full list of dates and information on how to buy tickets, visit www.oakridgeboys.com/tour.
Known for their iconic and multi-platinum selling hit “Elvira,” along with other chart-toppers like “Bobbie Sue,” “Thank God For Kids,” and “Leaving Louisiana In The Broad Daylight,” The Oak Ridge Boys have achieved a decorated career, winning five GRAMMY® Awards, and multiple CMA, ACM and Dove Awards for their cross-over brand of pop, country and gospel music that spans multiple generations. Made up of members Duane Allen, Joe Bonsall, William Lee Golden and Richard Sterban, who’s unmistakable bass on the lyric “oom poppa, mow mow,” has become one of music’s most recognized sing-alongs an international scale, The Oak Ridge Boys are members of the Grand Ole Opry and achieved arguably country music’s highest honor in October 2015 when they were inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame.
In addition to their 2016 U.S. tour announcement, The Oak Ridge Boys revealed via Twitter on Sunday night (January 24), they met up for dinner with a notable U.S. couple -- their long-time friends, former president George H.W. Bush and first lady Barbara Bush at Taste Of Texas restaurant in Houston, Texas.
According to the group’s Joe Bonsall, The Oak Ridge Boys and the Bush’s enjoyed “a great meal with some lively and fun conversation,” and ended the night with a tableside serenade from The Oak Ridge Boys with a soulful version of “Feeling Mighty Fine,” a song off of the legendary group’s 1997 gospel album, Revival.
The Oak Ridge Boys have given many command performances throughout their legendary career, from performing for King Gustaf of Sweden, to Her Royal Highness Princess Caroline of Monaco, to Her Royal Highness Princess Anne of Great Britain and five U.S. presidents: Carter, Reagan, H.W. Bush, Clinton and W. Bush.
“We have been singing songs for George H.W. Bush since 1982 when he was Vice President, and our love for him has only grown over all of these years. We have stated many times that we are ALL better Americans for having known him and Barbara,” said Bonsall. “It was another memorable night for The Oak Ridge Boys… one that we will never forget. Thanks to the owners of Taste of Texas for hosting us Sunday night. It was simply magical,” he added.
Representing a country and musical heritage that extends back to World War II, The Oak Ridge Boys’ music and touring discipline is deeply steeped in tradition. According to Bonsall, every January for fourteen years, the group has made the same two-day stop at The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston to perform a Saturday night show and Sunday matinee that they made this past weekend (January 23-24), prior to their dinner with the Bush family – a tradition they cherish sharing with their Texas fans. Moreover, the group just wrapped up their voyage at sea on The Country Music Cruise 2016 on January 22, following their annual Christmas Night Out Tour, which has been bringing holiday cheer and their fan-favorite hits to Oak Ridge Boys fans nationwide for 26 consecutive years.

TYLER FARR GOES ON IMMEDIATE VOCAL REST FOLLOWING MICROLARYNGEAL SURGERY
Nashville, TN – Following microlaryngeal surgery to remove a vocal polyp on his vocal chords, Columbia Nashville post modern country traditionalist Tyler Farr has been placed on total vocal rest. The power vocalist first became aware of vocal issues while on tour with Jason Aldean this summer – and the problem was identified during a severe bout of bronchitis at the end of 2015.
“This is the last thing I would’ve ever expected,” says the operatically-trained Farr. “I sing hard, and I give it everything I have every night, but I really believed I was putting my training to work. After a #1 song, an awesome tour with Jason and getting engaged, this is not how I thought I was going to be winding up 2015.”
Rather than wait and see, Farr and his medical team opted to remove the polyps and begin vocal rest, followed by aggressive therapy. To maximize recovery and minimize time off the road, the Missouri-born owner of three gold and one platinum single is cancelling all shows for the next few months.
“I know what it takes to get out there and reallydeliver,” Farr says. “I hate cancelling shows, especially the upcoming tour with my buddy Lee Brice, but I never want to give the fans less than everything... And I know the sooner I let my body heal, the sooner I can get back out there – andthe fewer problems I will have in the long run. To me, it’s never about the next few days, but doing the right thing overall, and now I’m under doctor’s orders.”
Working with the medical team at the Vanderbilt Voice Clinic, Farr will be doing all he can to heal his vocal chords and gearing up for the road this spring. Being given a good report post-surgery, it appears his voice will return stronger and richer than ever.

HANK WILLIAMS JR.'S IT'S ABOUT TIME CHARTS HIGHEST STUDIO DEBUT IN
CAREER HISTORY WITH #2 BILLBOARD TOP COUNTRY ALBUM
IT'S ABOUT TIME Lands in Top 10 on Billboard 200 with No. 8 Album in the Country
THOMAS RHETT’S “DIE A HAPPY MAN" MARKS FIRST SIX-WEEK NO. ONE
ON THE BILLBOARD COUNTRY AIRPLAY CHART SINCE
TAYLOR SWIFT’S “OUR SONG” IN 2008
The PLATINUM Hit Consistently Maintains Position As Best-Selling Country Track
and Tops Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart for 11th Week
NASHVILLE, TN – Jan. 25, 2016 – Multi-PLATINUM singer/songwriter Thomas Rhett declares the top spot once again on the Billboard Country Airplay chart this week as his megahit “Die A Happy Man" spends its sixth consecutive week at No. One. The last artist to hold the same reign over the chart was Taylor Swift exactly eight years ago with “Our Song.”
"I seriously can't believe this song has spent six weeks at No. one,” said Thomas Rhett. "When you put a song out there as personal as this, you hope it connects and resonates with people. But I could never have imagined it would connect like this! And to mirror an achievement not seen since Taylor Swift - someone I really respect as a songwriter, performer and entertainer - is just mind blowing."
“The biggest country song in the nation right now" (Omaha World-Herald) continues to serve as the best-selling country digital track and simultaneously tops Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart for an 11th week. Thomas Rhett continues to bring his signature "sizzling fusion of soul, funk, R&B and country as his own" (Rolling Stone) to his live show as direct support for Jason Aldean’s WE WERE HERE 2016 TOUR, where he has proven he knows “how to please a full house” (City County Observer). “SOMEWHERE ON A BEACH” SETS SAIL AT
COUNTRY RADIO AND ON iTUNES
Bentley Adds Newcomer Tucker Beathard
to 2016 TOUR
NASHVILLE, TN - Jan. 25, 2016 - Fans across the country have found a little reprieve from winter in Dierks Bentley's "Somewhere On A Beach,” evident as the track immediately shot to the top of iTunes' Country songs upon release. The salty track serves as the lead single from his forthcoming eighth studio album BLACK (Capitol Records Nashville) and is the most added song at Country radio this week, with the biggest add date of 2016 as 104 stations jumped on board.
“I was ready to have fun, so it’s been really cool to see the fans immediately react to this song the way they have,” said Bentley. “As I literally sit on a beach right now in Cancun, I can’t remember ever being this excited about a new single."
Critics were also quick to jump onboard, noting the “lead single from forthcoming album 'Black' is all about the relationship rebound…over an R&B-tinged groove, Bentley sings about a guy shaking off his breakup blues by enjoying the company of a beautiful lady and partying his ass off in the sand” (Rolling Stone), while Entertainment Weekly adds "it’s not more than one trip through the sexy chorus before you’re on a kayak, trying to find a way to do the same.”
The multi-PLATINUM entertainer has added rising singer/songwriter Tucker Beathard to the opening slot of his upcoming 2016 SOMEWHERE ON A BEACH TOUR, which is set to follow a string of UK shows together in April. The North American leg will begin on May 12 in Holmdel, NJ at the PNC Bank Arts Center with Randy Houser and special guest Cam. Fans can purchase tickets beginning Friday (1/29) for select cities as part of Live Nation’s Country Megaticket at www.Megaticket.com.
Since moving from Phoenix to Nashville in the 1990s, Bentley has established his own artistic trail in country music. Instead of rehashing proven formulas, he’s doggedly reinvented his sound and subsequently developed an uncommon mix of commercial success and critical respect. RISER debuted at No. one on the Billboard country album chart, and its trio of chart-topping singles upped his career tally to 13 No one. songs as a songwriter and artist. He’s now amassed 13 GRAMMY nominations and dozens of other award show nominations. Additionally, Bentley has been a Grand Ole Opry member for over a decade and will co-host the 51st Annual ACM Awards this April on CBS. For more information on new music, upcoming tour dates and appearances, visit www.dierks.com.

About Kip Moore: A relentless road warrior, MULTI PLATINUM singer/songwriter Kip Moore is currently gearing up to head back out on the road at the end of the month for the second leg of his WILD ONES TOUR that will include a string of headlining dates in The UK and Ireland as well as shows scheduled in Australia for the first time. Moore's new single “Running For You” was heralded by Billboard as “a career song from the album” and was the most added song at country radio in its debut week. The single is taken from Moore’s critically acclaimed sophomore album WILD ONES that Huffington Post declared as “one heck of an album… set to produce hit after hit after hit” and that Associated Press noted "consistently serves up clever roots-rock riffs and rhythms that separate Moore from the rock-meets-rap focus of his Nashville peers” while Entertainment Weekly proclaims it “reaches for the stadium’s nosebleeds.” Moore also recently launched the “Comeback Kid Skatepark Project,” a charitable initiative that will oversee the construction of a series of skateparks to benefit communities and “comeback kids." Phase one cities of the project include Nashville, TN; Boston, MA; San Marcos, TX; and Annapolis, MD. For more information visit www.kipmoore.net.
About Brothers Osborne: The Grammy, CMA and ACM nominated duo have just released their first major label album, Pawn Shop. Years before they climbed the country charts with songs like "Stay a Little Longer" and "Rum," Brothers Osborne grew up in Deale, Maryland, a small fishing town on the Atlantic seaboard, jamming at home with their family. From the very start, TJ Osborne was the brother with the voice. He sang in a thick, low baritone, crooning like Johnny Cash long before he was even old enough to drive. Older brother John, was the family's guitar shredder, his fingers capable of down-home bluegrass licks, arena-worthy rock riffs, country twang, and everything in between. Like its title suggests, Pawn Shop offers a little bit of everything. There's bluesy slide guitar, country duets, southern rock solos, harmonies, and plenty of groove. Some songs were written at home in Nashville, while others came together on the road, where the guys spent several years headlining their own club shows, touring the country with Darius Rucker, and playing some of the biggest arenas in America with fellow rule-breaker Eric Church. The Good for a Good Time Tour Featuring Special Guests Dan + Shay and Michael Ray Begins June 3
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- (January 20, 2016) - Three-time GRAMMY Award winner Darius Rucker will kick off his 2016 Good for a Good Time Tour in Tampa, Fla. on June 3. The Good for a Good Time Tour will feature opening acts Dan + Shay, who are celebrating their first No. 1 single with “Nothin’ Like You” and rising country singer Michael Ray, who was the only new male country artist of 2015 to have a No. 1 single in 2015, with "Kiss You in the Morning." Over 30 stops across the country have been announced so far with more to come! Fans can purchase tickets beginning Jan. 29 for select cities as part of Live Nation’s Country Megaticket at www.Megaticket.com.
More than 400,000 fans turned out to experience Rucker’s incomparable vocals and raucous good time during last year’s Southern Style Tour, so expectations are high for 2016.
Rucker plans to once again provide his concerts as a platform to honor and present homes to our nation’s combat wounded heroes and Gold Star spouses, in conjunction with Project Rebuild. Rucker, along with Lieutenant General Sisco, CEO and founder of Military Warriors Support Foundation, presented the first house in an appearance on NBC’s Today and went on to present 13 more homes in 2015. The Project Rebuild campaign arose from a partnership between Dr Pepper Snapple Group and Military Warriors Support Foundation to assist in rebuilding the lives of our wounded veterans. Project Rebuild helps place wounded veterans in mortgage-free homes and help ease the transition back to civilian life.
The Good for a Good Time Tour will also partner with the rideshare app Uber for select dates, giving fans the chance to win free rides as well as VIP packages. A few lucky riders in cities across the United States will win VIP packages for a Good for a Good Time Tour stop which include 2 tickets to the show, an exclusive Darius Rucker pre-show acoustic performance, and invitation to a pre-show party in the VIP Party Lounge. Fans can enter the promo code GOODTIME to enter to win, and first time users will also receive $20 off their first ride.

About Michael Ray
When rising country singer Michael Ray made his first exploratory trip to Nashville, he got a life-changing piece of advice from an industry insider—Go home. Turns out it was the best thing Ray ever did. He built a rowdy fan base back home and returned to Nashville three years later. Ray continued the journey from tiny Eustis, Florida, to the big time with the release of his first single “Kiss You In The Morning,” which went #1 in just 24 weeks. Ray’s follow- up single, “Real Men Love Jesus,” is currently climbing the charts and touching hearts at the same time. Raised in rural central Florida an hour from Orlando, Ray grew up hunting alligators and fishing for tarpon at the end of white sand dirt roads. The child of a family full of musicians, he began his professional career before he was a teenager, graduated to the bar scene as soon as he could drive and hasn’t let up on the pedal since. When he decided it was time to move to Nashville, the work Ray had put in began to pay off quickly. He met manager Tony Conway, a 40 year industry veteran and owner/CEO at Ontourage Management. Conway helped guide Ray to a publishing contract with Warner/Chappell Music and a record deal with Atlantic Records / Warner Music Nashville. Since the release of his first two singles, Ray continues to grow his following, touring with Chase Rice, Sam Hunt, and Kip Moore, and kicking off 2016 touring with Brantley Gilbert.
