Kenny Chesney Hits “The Tonight Show” April 15th
Couch Time & Offers A Special Performance for “Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3D”
“Ain’t Back Yet” Top 10 – Available on Greatest Hits II

Burbank, CA: Only Kenny Chesney would take a year off and make a 3D film that captures the intensity of his stadium shows while offering behind the scenes and archival moments that illustrate how his world as evolved into the million-tickets-sold-each-summer-for-eight-consecutive years, as well as write the preface to ESPN's Mike & Mike in the Mornings' Rules for Sports + Life,  record “Ain't Back Yet,” the end theme for “Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3D” that's the fastest moving single in the Country Top 10 and focus on what will be his first true studio album in almost four years. So the high-energy singer/songwriter - who hardly takes a breath, let alone a break - will have plenty to talk about when he sits down on the couch with Jay Leno on “The Tonight Show” April 15th.

“It's sorta strange to be going on 'The Tonight Show' with a movie coming out,” says the man whose film will open for a limited time April 21 at almost a 1000 3D theatres across the country. “It's very different, the idea of showing clips and talking about the experience of making this film… but it's something we' re all - me, the band, Joe Thomas the director, all the guys who worked on it - are really proud of, and it's definitely getting me out of my comfort zone.”

Beyond the taste of Chesney's concert and beyond film - which was captured live in the major stadiums of  Boston, Seattle, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Indianapolis - Chesney will of course treat his fans to a performance, because “I can't imagine there and not playing something.” Fans used to the whole band, horns and Drummy Zeb treatment, are in for a real treat as Chesney goes it alone with just his acoustic guitar on the late night talker.

“I think cause the film is so big and so wild and so… well, truly like I've never seen it before,” Chesney says, “the only way to give people a sense of how different “Summer in 3D” is would be to perform for them in a way that's not like they're used to seeing me. So this will be maybe my most intimate performance ever on television, just like the movie is the most in your face, in the Goodyear Blimp, in the Sand Bar, on the stage, almost under my hat we could make it. Consider the contrasts - and enjoy both phases.”

After his appearance on “The Tonight Show,” Chesney - who has won 4-consecutive Academy of Country Music and 4 Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year awards - will be heading to Vegas, where he is again nominated for Entertainer, Top Male Vocalist and Vocal Event for “I'm Alive” with good friend Dave Matthews at this year's Academy of Country Music Awards, telecast live from the MGM Grand on April 18th on CBS.

With “Aint Back Yet” in the Top 10, an appearance on good friends Mike & Mike in the Morning's ESPN show April 7th and a very compelling “Oprah” on April 9th, the man who's been holed up in the studio working on his fall 2010 release is fixing to be out and about. As “Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3D,” you can find him anywhere  -- starting April 21, wherever 3D movies are shown.

Kenny Chesney Hits ESPN-2/Radio's Mike + Mike April 7
With Their RULES FOR SPORTS + LIFE Hitting Stores, Chesney Makes A Call

Bristol, CT: Kenny Chesney's taken batting practice with the Boston Red Sox, been drafted - and cut - by the New Orleans Saints, but by far his most full-contact sports activity is getting in the trenches with ESPN Radio/ESPN-2's “Mike and Mike in the Morning,” the freewheeling talk show helmed by a noted sportswriter (Mike Greenberg) and a former Notre Dame/Houston Oiler-Miami Dolphin-Philadelphia Eagle defensive lineman (Mike Golick). As the no-holds-barred, no out-of-bounds team releases Mike and Mike's Rules for Sports & Life April 6, Chesney figured it was about time to check in with the two guys he's not seen since the Superbowl.

“Mike and Mike keep it so real,” Chesney says of the duo. “They have the most unique take: one of not just an ultimate fan, but as a journalist, he's got that analytic thing down - and the other, having been on the field, on the bench and in the practices and meetings, he knows what the pressures are like when you're making it happen. So. they really put you inside what's going on.”

Chesney's interest in the book is a little more than enjoying the read. The 4-consecutive Academy of Country Music and 4-time Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year was tapped by Mike and Mike to write the preface for Rules for Sports & Life, a task which matched him with noted columnist George Will. For the lifetime sports fan, it not only got Chesney out of his wheelhouse, it gave him a different take on what goes into telling the story.

“When they asked me, I thought it'd be fun,” Chesney offers. “But I took it - like everything I do - serious, and it's a lot more work than you'd guess. I can say, though., I got to read their book last year laugh at their anecdotes, see their camaraderie on the page and take away some funny stories and some decent life lessons. Anyone who's a fan of the show is gonna love it - ifthey can get past the preface.”

The high energy singer/songwriter from East Tennessee has spent the last several months outside his comfort zone. After announcing he would not stage one of his massive summer tours - that for the last 8 years have played to over a million fans each year, including over a dozen major NFL stadiums each tour - Chesney's been working on his Sony Pictures the Hot Ticket release “Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3D,” which opens in the theatres nationwide April 21 for a limited engagement. Shot from the Goodyear blimp, the Sand Bar, onstage, backstage and every other imaginable angle, the maximum intensity motion picture offers a full-spectrum take on his concert experience as well as providing a glimpse - through voiceovers with archival footage, pictures and behind the sceens moments - that shows Chesney as he's never been seen before.

With 4 Academy of Country Music Award nominations - for Entertainer, Male Vocalist, Vocal Event with Dave Matthews for “I'm Alive” and producer on the CBS April 18th live telecast- and an major sitdown on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on April 9, Chesney will be plenty of places. But the one stop the confirmed sports addict had to make was April 7 with ESPN's  “Mike and Mike in the Morning” where anything can - and often does - happen.

I Got Your Country Right Here Hits Stores March 30, 2010
(Nashville, Tennessee...) -- March 29, 2010 --Grammy, CMA & ACM Award-winning artist Gretchen Wilson's fourth studio album, I Got Your Country Right Here, hits stores on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, and she will perform her "Work Hard, Play Harder" hit single on the "CBS Early Show" on Wednesday morning, March 31. Gretchen produced the album with Blake Chancey and John Rich, and the disc is the first release on her recently-launched Redneck Records label.
The three-star album review in this week's People Magazine called the title track "butt kicking" and the "Earrings Song," penned by Rivers Rutherford, Monty Criswell, "a catfight-ready stomp." Michael McCall writes, "Her first album for her own company ratchets up everything she's accentuated from the start: Blustery southern rock touting a hard-partying, one-of-the-boys attitude and an in-your-face allegiance to blue-collar ideals" in his Associated Press review.
Gretchen co-wrote two songs on the album and turned to Nashville's heaviest hitters on the other nine cuts. In addition to Rutherford and Criswell, Al Anderson, Dave Berg, Becca Bramlett, Rodney Clawson, Dallas Davidson, Bob Dipiero, Tom Hambridge, Terry McBride, Vicky McGehee, John Rich,  Chris Stapleton, Jeffrey Steele, Sam & Annie Tate, Bobby Terry all contributed songs on the album. "The songwriters are the creative heart and soul that is the beginning of this project," said Gretchen.
In addition to the 11-song album, Gretchen is offering a unique Deluxe Edition Package, which includes the I Got Your Country Right Here CD, a 32-page full-color photo book containing never-before-seen pictures of Gretchen at work and at play, a poster-size replica of the U.S. Constitution and a 3' x 5' "I Got Your Country Right Here" flag in a special collector's box. The special package is offered only through www.RedneckRecords.com, and Gretchen is autographing the first 500 copies.
Gretchen recently wrapped up her two-month I Got Your Country Right HereClub Tour, which showcased her and her band in smaller venues from coast to coast. The dates kicked off in Florida and Georgia, moved through Ohio, Michigan and Indiana, out to Oklahoma, Kansas, Arizona, Vegas and LA and then back through Texas before winding up in Norfolk, Virginia. In between, she made it home for Country Radio Seminar, a performance benefitting her daughter's school and a jet trip to Dallas to sing the National Anthem at the NBA All-Star game.
Gretchen exploded onto the country music scene in 2004 with her smash hit "Redneck Woman." She has won virtually every award for which she's been nominated and racked up three #1 albums. Her autobiographical book, "Redneck Woman: Stories from My Life," landed her on the prestigious New York Times Best Seller List.
A dedicated single mother to her nine-year-old daughter Grace, Gretchen went back to school and earned her GED in 2008. She has since become an advocate to help spotlight the funding needs of adult education programs and the adults on waiting lists hoping to further their education. She spoke to a Congressional subcommittee early last spring about the need for continued funding, and in September she was presented a 2009 National Coalition for Literacy Leadership Award at a reception at the Library of Congress. Following Gretchen's touching acceptance speech, Congressman Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) was brought to the stage to deliver a statement she had prepared and read that morning in front of the 110thCongress honoring the accomplishments of Gretchen Wilson as a mother, recording artist and a leader in the advancement of adult education and literacy.

Carrie's #1 Again!!!!

Carrie Underwood’s “Temporary Home” Becomes Her 12th #1 Single

Beautiful Track Is Second Chart-Topper from Underwood’s Play On Album

Nashville, TN – Superstar Carrie Underwood’s gorgeous “Temporary Home” today becomes the 12th #1 single of her career and the second chart-topper from her Platinum-certified Play Oncollection.  Sprinting to the top of Billboard’s Hot Country Songs in just 18 weeks, the song hit the chart summit faster than any other single this year.

One of seven tracks that Underwood co-wrote for Play On - and her fifth co-written single to top the charts - “Temporary Home” may portray poignant life moments, but the message is one that Carrie has always seen as uplifting, as she says, “It’s hopeful, and each person in each story, in each different place in their life, knows that things are going to be okay.”

On the CMT Top Twenty Countdown episode that premiered this past Friday, the touching music video for “Temporary Home” topped the countdown for the fifth consecutive week.

Fans can also be looking for Carrie as she makes a home on the cover of the April issue of Allure magazine, on sale now.

The only American Idol winner ever to achieve 12 #1 hits, Underwood’s collection of chart-toppers began with the instant success of her post-American Idol single, “Inside Your Heaven,” which debuted atop Billboard’s Hot 100 chart in the summer of 2005.  It was the first of five #1s to top the BDS or Mediabase charts from her 7x-Platinum debut, Some Hearts, with the others including the GRAMMY-winning “Jesus, Take the Wheel,” “Before He Cheats,” “Don’t Forget to Remember Me,” and “Wasted.”

The five-time GRAMMY winner, ACM Entertainer of the Year, and three-time CMA and ACM Female Vocalist winner is also the first country artist in history ever to achieve 10 #1 singles on the strength of their first two albums when “I Told You So” became the fifth consecutive chart-topper from Carrie’s second album - the triple-Platinum Carnival Ride - which also included “Just a Dream” and three hits Carrie co-wrote: “So Small,” “All-American Girl,” and “Last Name.”

■ FOR JARON, IT TOOK PROFESSIONAL TIME APART FROM HIS TWIN BROTHER TO FIND HIS OWN VOICE: As Jaron of Jaron And The Long Road To Love sees “Pray For You”, his debut single as a solo artist, soar up the charts, the singer-songwriter reminisces on the long journey of finding his own voice, following years of success with twin brother Evan [as Evan & Jaron - “Crazy For The Girl”]. “If you want to know the difference between Evan and Jaron, you’ve got to ask somebody else, because the truth is, I don’t know,” muses Jaron from a Nashville studio, where he is hard at work completing his debut solo album.  “I really don’t know.  I will tell you that we’re best friends, we’re partners.  We’ve always been partners.  He started the band.  He started me into music, in fact, he pushed me into it.  I had no say!  He started playing guitar and he was like, ‘We’re doing a band.’  And I was like, ‘What?  We’re going to college.’  He said, ‘Mmm mmm.’  So, he’s always been the rock and always led everything,” Jaron continues.  “That’s why it took me so long to go out on my own.  I was thinking, ‘I’m not gonna go without him.’  But, then I realized that this is my time to get my vision out there.”  As Jaron embarks on this new musical journey, he knows it will feel different this time, especially not having Evan by his side.  “Evan’s always been an incredibly hard worker—he ran the show.  He’s much more rooted than I am.  I’m a little bit out there!,” Jaron says with a smirk.  “I think they call it a free spirit.  I love to have a lot of fun.  I am a deep guy, but I do like to have fun.  So I’m sure there will be many calls to Evan from the road to help keep me focused.”

■ JACK INGRAM’S TOURING FUTURE MAY INCLUDE A LONGTIME FRIEND: One of Jack Ingram’s best friends, fellow Texas-native Pat Green, is currently back on the road.  With Pat on his own tour and Jack wrapping up his sold-out Acoustic Motel Tour and gearing up for a summer run on the COUNTRY Throwdown Tour, we asked Jack whether or not they might tour together one day.  “Pat and I talk about it a lot,” notes Jack.  “You know, seven years ago, we went out together when he asked me to do a run of shows with him.  And it was a ton of fun then, and I am certain it would be a ton of fun if we were to do something together again.”  While both singers are predominantly known for their country-rock live shows, Pat and Jack certainly don’t shy away from ballads in concert.  "I think my friendJack Ingram put it best,” Pat recently told AOL’s The Boot.  “Slow songs can really rock, too.  If it's a really great song, it doesn't matter if it's slow or fast.”
