MIRANDA LAMBERT’s “HOUSE THAT BUILT ME”  ATOP CHART WITH
4 WEEK # 1

LONGEST #1 SONG OF THE YEAR IN MEDIA BASE/TIED FOR LONGEST IN BDS

Headlining “Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars” Tour Sets Attendance Records

NASHVILLETN – The impact of Miranda Lambert’s Number One Single, “House That Built Me,” continues as the song logs its fourth week atop the charts, making it the longest running Number One song of the year on the Media Base/Aircheck Chart and tied for the longest on the BDS/Billboard chart.

On the amazing success of “The House That Built Me” Lambert said, “It’s the lyrics that deserve the credit. It's an amazing song and I am so honored to have recorded it.” The song comes on the heels of her first Number One single “White Liar,” both from her third album, Revolution, which won the ACM Album of The Year Award in April.

Recently, Lambert wrapped up her first headline tour, “Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars” which included 17 sold-out shows on the 25 city tour. She set attendance records in New Braunfels, TX with 5,550; Duluth GA, with 4,700; StillwaterOK with 11,000 and her show in FlorenceAZ drew 19,000 people on Thursday night of the four day festival.

She received rave reviews for the tour as well.  David Burke, Quad City Times wrote, “… the 26 year old Texan certainly packed a punch in her first headlining tour. Lambert’s ‘Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars’ tour found her playing the tough-chick persona full tilt in most of the night, pausing briefly for ballads such as ‘More Like Her’ and ‘the House that Built Me.’ Her 90-minute show kicked off with the high energy ‘Kerosene,’ one of the nine hits she charted in country’s top 40 in the past five years and continued with much of the same intensity through the night.”

Tomorrow night, Lambert takes the stage at Music City’s Bridgestone Arena for Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert For Flood Recovery. The charity concert will assist those affected by the floods that devastated the Nashville area last month.

Three-time GRAMMY® nominee, platinum-selling recording artist and hit singer/songwriter Miranda Lambert recently added her first CMT Award to an already impressive list of accolades she’s received this year.  The fan-voted CMT Award for Female Video of the Year joins Miranda’s recent ACM wins for Album of the Year (Revolution), Female Vocalist of the Year and Video of the Year (White Liar).  Her current single, "The House That Built Me," has held the Number 1 position for 4 straight weeks. It follows “White Liar” which was Miranda’s first career No.1 single.

Revolution, her critically-acclaimed third album, has quickly surpassed the Gold sales mark after debuting at No. 1 on Billboard's Country Album Charts making her one of four artists in country music history whose first three albums landed the top position right out of the box.  It received rare perfect reviews from countless publications including four stars from Rolling Stone and USA Today, an 'A' from Entertainment Weekly and exuberant praise from the New York Times, SPIN, the Washington Post and more.  Many have proclaimed Revolution the "Best Album of the Year" in any genre including the Houston Chronicle and NPR's All Things Considered.

In 2008, Miranda Lambert first won the coveted ACM Album of the Year and in 2007 the ACM Best New Female Award.

She recently wrapped up her own "Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars" headlining tour and will be joining the Lilith Fair tour this summer. For more information, visit

I've always been a believer in the strength of the song. My problem is I'm a country singer who's had a lot of other musical influences, so my stuff is going to tend to be more AC. That's always been my slam in country music, that I was never a true country artist, even though &q

ARRESTED now in Colorado...but what a story and week for 2 brothers and their stripper sister! Text messages and tweets by three fugitive siblings who shot at a police officer and robbed a bank reveal a dangerous mindset and a firm bond between the siblings, "We've certainly seen their mindset when... They shot at a law enforcement officer outside of Tampa Bay, Fla., and when they fired inside that bank in Valdosta, Ga. But these additional texts and tweets have given us additional insight," FBI Special Agent Stephen Emmett told "Good Morning America" today. " We are concerned and feel that they are going to continue and cause problems to say the least for law enforcement." Ryan Dougherty, 21; his sister Lee Grace E. Dougherty, 29; and half-brother Dylan Dougherty Stanley, 26, have been on the lam since Aug. 2 when they shot at a police officer attempting to pull their white Subaru Impreza over for speeding. A few hours later, they robbed a bank in G
